How many horses do you have?

I have 3

1 14hh Arab x Welsh 16 yrs old, who has had a year off due to injury, hoping to bring him back into work as a light hack, Before he was injured competed him up to 3ft xc and sj, hacking regular hunting and fun rides.

1 12.3hh Exmoor 9 yrs old, currently coming back into work after having time off to keep my Arab company and due to my broken arm! He was bought as a project to break in and sell but got too attached and is a typical Exmoor bargy etc so people send him back! I genereally hack hunt and local show him. Hes one of the most safest ponies I know! I was riding him while my arm was healing, now i have limited use hes still a star for me. Ridden around 5 times a week, lunged once or twice.

1 15.2hh WB x TB 10 yrs old, currently having lazy time with me being injured but just got back on her and shes been very good . Before I got injured I use to compete her sj and xc, does school nicely although never done a dressage test!, fun rdes and hacking. Ridden 4 times a week and lunged/passeoa twice.

one beautiful princess (see sig)

we do what she wants mostly dressage but we jump and show. as soon as shes in the ring for dressage and showing she fires up i love it, its like riding magic:)

I have 2, and help look after a 3rd who belongs to my friend. The 2 of us share the work and care of all 3 of them really.

I have a TB who is 18 and recovering from a serious injury. Just about to start bringing him back into work to be a happy hacker from now on. Before his injury I had started to wind down his ridden work anyway - so he was gently ridden 2 or 3 times a week max be me or his lovely 2nd mum.

I also have a pony who I compete at local level and ride 5 times a week.

My friends pony is our newest addition - we are getting him fit gently and he is ridden 4 times a week.

I have one - 16.3hh DWB chesnut mare, slightly broken so although bought to go as far as we could BS, now who knows. Currently in a field getting fat. Will start work again next week, once D1's exams a finished and my cold is gone.

D1 has two - 16.1hh-ish IDxTB 12 year old grey mare on loan. In the process of her becoming ours :D. D1 will hopefully BS and some one-day stuff. Fingers crossed they'll have lots of fun :D. Will be worked six days a week, a mix of schooling and hacking.
- 13.3hh eight year old Trad cob. Coming back into work next week after some time off with a sacroiliac joint issue.

And the family has Little Lad. Bout for D2, but his antics scared her. Then was D1's, but she grew too tall for him. Now retired and mooching about and has been for about two years now. Everybody's friend, on the whole lol. Still likes to go in the school and have a play (not ridden).

6 soon to be 7!!! Although 5 ponies at home in Suffolk, my WB in Wiltshire and my new TB is coming to Wiltshire with me too! :D We just collect them!:o:p

we used to collect too Em!!
bet you're excited about him coming :D:D

OP: we have a retired IDxTB. He got arthritis in his hocks and done both suspensories-he belongs to my sister who is at Uni and although rideable he's quirky so no one wants to!
A warmblood at Uni with my sister, she bought him herself, meant for BSJA but she doesnt have the time!
Welsh D-she's mine! real 2nd pony does a bit of everything but jumping is her forte  she's got 3 months off due to her being fat, saddle doesnt fit and due to old injury now has a 10st 7 weight limit so i have dieting to do
Welsh A-he's on loan from a lovely lady for the kids to ride
mini shettie stallion-he's soon to be to a new home who will geld him and might teach him to drive
and lastly Jess who is a gorgeous fell cross and belongs to mum's friend- she's a safe, sane and sensible 6 year old who you could leave for a year and she'd still plod everywhere with you

Far too many :D

Small useless ginger pony, was my pony as a teenager, now out grown, ridden once a week by a teenager and used as a companion to the below.

My buckskin cob, Fudge who gets lightly hacked a couple of times a week as he's now semi-retired due to a DDFT injury.

Merlie Cob, ridden two or three times by me a week and three times by my sharer, mostly hacking and schooling.

Plus I own half of a delinquent Welsh C Stallion and two unbroken youngsters, one ISH, one WBXTB.

I am down to 7 ponies. I had 8 but my oap mare was pts on Friday :(
The remaining 7 consist of 2 mini Shetland mares, a yearling gelding and 2yo filly who will both make 12hh max, a 13hh gelding, a 13.1hh mare and a 13.2hh mare. They are all M+M's, some are purebreds , some are partbreds, and I do showing with them :)

American Pie, 16 yr skewbald gelding, owned 11 years, became a Champion Working Hunter pony with my niece, Daisy, and won Pro-Am TREC challenge with me at Royal Windsor 2011, now helps me bring youngsters on.

Banksy – 17.1 hh, 6 year old, bay gelding, TB xID, advertised in Horse and Hound next week. Bought by me in Ireland as 4 year old and slowly brought on – paid off as qualified for Horse of the Year Show in his first Open Show Hunter Class last week. Also hunted, done cross country, lovely horse.

Harry – 17.3 hh, 5 years, chestnut gelding from N.Ireland. Again to do Show Hunters with and have some fun and bring on and eventually sell to lovely home.

Corky, 16.2 hh, 5 years, piebald bought by me from Ireland as 3 year old. Lovely nature, my niece can do coloured classes and working hunter classes with him and we’ll see what he’s best at.

George, 15.3 hh, 4 year old WB x TB, started by me and kept at home and ridden all over the Lambourn gallops in Dually halter but yes I do KNOW I must get round to mouthing him properly and cantering in circles and things or his self esteem could be affected badly.
Herbie, 12.2 hh, 16 years, grey welsh pony. Had 10 years, Was going to be put down as ‘psychologically damaged’. Originally bought as companion for Pie.

I have 1 but would love another but hubby says NO as i spend enough time out of the house riding as it is and he says i wouldnt have time to ride another. Hate to say it but i know he's right!:(

we have three:

Montego Bay (Tego) : 30-40 yrs old tb x conn retired and living out her days in the field

Whisper: 17 yr old arab x welsh x conn at the moment just happy hacking, but when fitter we do some light showing

Willow: whispers foal by a sports horse stallion. 1 year old on monday... busy being a baby! hoping to so some in hand showing until she's backed, then hope to compete her eventualy- working hunter/showing/low level dressage... just see how it goes!

:D
