How many horses do you have?

Three and two in full
Work at min other one is on holiday !! Plus work full time and do shifts , long hours early
Mornings , late nights but worth every penny !! X

1 at mo 14.1 cob 11 years old but trying persuade hubby for another. Think I've succeeded by him saying "only if I can have a western saddle will I have your horse"!!! Oh happy days :-)

1 and a 1/6th  Well... one Sec D and a teenytiny mini, not sure she counts, she is more like a dog:D I keep them at home and couldnt have one without the other.

I have one and can easily spend a whole day at the yard faffing over him but my friend has 13! I don't know how she copes! She's only 18 and these are all competition horses (except her retired pony) but she manages to keep them all very happy and healthy on her own! She's got a real horse sense.

3 playing ponies, 1 baby, 1 oldie and one on loan to a lovely home.

Hopefully this time next year it'll be down to just 3. I'm going to sell the baby, hopefully the loan pony will stay where she is and the oldie needs to find a retirement home.

I have 2 but 1 is a mare I have kinda given to a friend to breed from but I technically still own her and once she has had a few foals my friend will give her back to me. So really I only look after, pay for and ride 1 horse.

2 for me at the moment.
One is a 16.3hh,flea bitten grey, Shire x TB. Nearly 18 years old and my complete world. <3
The other is an 11hh Dartmoor/shetland cross,skewbald,8 years old,and a darlin'. :3

Im desperately hoping to get another riding horse in the near future, one fairly young that i can do alot with...i keep looking when i really shouldn't... :P

I have 4 at the moment, only 1 full time ridden, 1 youngster, 1 companion for youngster on loan and currently looking after an elderly neighbours horse over winter. Luckily I have them all at home, makes such a difference not driving to a yard. I work full time, travel away with work quite a lot but have the best husband ever. I wouldn't manage without his help but horses at home much less stressful than at livery.

I have 4.
I is a retired 15.1hh cobxtb skewbald mare 21year old, she is retired through injury. I bred her from my old gypsy cob that i lost a few years ago, and did alsorts with her when she was in work and she injured herself in the field while she was on holiday while i had my kids.
1 is a 16.1hh IDxtb 5 year old that i bought as a 17 month old colt. I have a young lass comes on a Saturday that rides him and adores him.
1 is a 14.2 3 years gypsy cob who i adore. I backed her this year and i am working her very gently for now and then she will have a couple of months off soon and come back into work in the spring.
the last 1 is my daughters 13.2hh section B. He is a very quiet 5 year old and is adorable.
They take all my money and all my time but they make me and my daughter very happy so are staying :D.

Started the year with two, now have six

One retired TB, one 2yr old Luso, a Section D, my OH's Luso, a Luso/TB/Arab cross and an Arab/Spanish cross who is on trial prior to a full loan (which is a given, our yard manager is in love with him!)

i have 2 but look after 3 :) i havent ridden in a good month or so, i pay for one mum pays for the other, if im on a late shift i turn out and muck out in the morning and someone else brings them in whether that be my mum or stepdad depends whos around! if im on an early my stepdad turns them out then i go down after work to muck out and bring in... i couldnt deal with any more otherwise i think i might die :o

i have gone from 9 to 2 .wouldnt have more now as back on livery. ive got a sec A who is just decorative, and my saint of a 16.2hh anglo arab :D

Just the one. 10 year old Belgian Warmblood chestnut gelding :)

I would love to get a youngster - but at the moment I just dont have time for another one let alone one I would need to do so much work with. Perhaps one day

I have 3, but including my own I regularly care for 5 and turn out/bring in another 3. So I am fortunate to have 8 horses in my life.

Basil- chestnut tb gelding (actually daughter's horse) he is on part loan to a great person at our yard

Bella-bay tb mare, just returned from loan and lives on a farm with my friend's horses

Maggie- piebald ISH type mare on same yard as Basil. This horse is a gem among gems.

To ensure everyone is taken care of, there are a complex set of arrangements at both places. I am grateful to her, and my OH, and my friends at the yard, especially recently when so many of them put so much effort and time into picking the mare up from her loan home.

It will be easier in the spring, I wish it would stop raining!!

I am actually really, really knackered, quite horse poor but otherwise happy:)

0 horses
1 13.2hh coblet who is on loan to us
1 8.2hh shetland yearling who I brought with promblems from my christmas and birthday money last year.
currently on the look out for another.
All kept at home.:D

When we bought our place I had mine plus a friends retired boy for company, ended up with 5 after 18 months now down to 3 (one of which is out on loan) so only 2 at home which given this winter so far I am very glad about!!!
