My arab is in a wilki, with flash noseband and martingale, can be ridden in a full cheek fence link but need the extra control for jumping/galloping, and when other riders get on her, id rather she be light in the mouth than her being strong and they have to pull.
My thoroughbred is in a sweet iron loose ring, as in my eyes she is still a baby and is still mouthing.
I like to see horses being ridden in a bit they go well in, for example, i'd rather see a horse in a pelham stopping when asked, rather than one being yanked in the mouth in a snaffle because it won't stop.
