Took Diesel and Darcy to the vets last week for their boosters, I explained to he vet before hand that they had been sick on and off for a week before after scavenging a rotten deer carcase.(Darcy sicked up a hoof:eek:)

The vet examined them thoroughly listened to heart etc and pronouced them fit for their jabs.

I did pay at the time but it didnt register with my brain how much, got the receipt today £61.76 for the two. I thought that was very reasonable, how much do you pay?.

Nowt- sort of! Essentially my vets have this £10 a month scheme, this includes flea and worm treatment, yearly boosters, annual health check and tooth clean (not needed at present)

Because the spoilt darling is on Advocate due to sicking up Drontal, it would cost me about £10/month alone for that-so I think its worth it :)

Katielou they are only 2yrs old and it is a condition of the rescue that their vaccinations are up to date. Also with Darcy shes at training classes and they need to see your vaccinations card before you start.

I Know what you are saying I agree about over vaccinating it mucks up their immune system.

Same:)

I am a member of the "Healthy Pet Club" and pay so much a month so that when their vaccinations, worming and Flea treatment is due I do not have to pay. They also get a full health check twice a year.

I think the "Healthy Pet Club" is a very good thing.
