5 ft 11in and between 10.5 and 11 stone, don't have a horse but the last few I rode included: 18hh warmblood, 15.hh Barb, 15.2hh Barb x Arab and a 15.1hh Welsh D, none of whom seemed to have a problem with me. Legs probably looked rather long on the last three though :)

5ft2 (shorty) and weigh 7 stone, my horse is a 15.1hh lightweight warmblood. I also have a chunky newforest filly that I will be riding when old enough who will probably only make 13.2hh !

I'm about 5'9" and 12 stone - have a 15.3 TB/ Trak. cross and a 17.3hh KWPN.. just have to be careful about sitting upright as push little horse onto her nose if I tip forward - think that's height rather than weight though!!
Agree with some of the other posts - it's much more about how lightly you ride than how heavy you are - I've known some really tiny skinnies who horses really struggle with, but have a much larger friend who rides so beautifully the horses seem to barely notice the extra weight :)

Hmmm, I will make you feel much better then! When I was riding I weighed 16.5st and rode my 16.2hh dutch warmblood.
Before anyone shoots me down, he never showed any signs of unhappiness with my weight, we hunted, xc, sj and dressaged, and loved every minute.

this is good. im a little less then u at 16 st and shes 16hh sport horse, quite heavey for her breeding.
and we still clear 1.20 sj corses. just wanted to hear that there were some people like me lol:)

Remember it's not just about weight it's also about what you do with it. My horse is ridden by three people and the one she struggles with is the lightest.

this is very true because is someone my weight at 16stone rode my 16hh that couldnt ride she would most definatly have a tantrum but my riding instructure says i ride about 13 stone

5'2" on tiptoes and wearing shoes.
118lbs (according to the Dr this week) which is about 8 stone, give or take a bit, I think. Usually at about 9 stone, but I'm ill, my mare is a 14h arab of the stick insect variety.

I'm about 5'7", 8.5stone and have a 14hh (on tip-toes) native, and a 15.3hh very fine TB, and a 16hh 'normal size' TBx. I'm slightly tall on the 14hh, but he manages fine, possibly slightly heavy on the TB but because I ride lightly she manages fine and well suited to the 16hh size-wise but he's not in work atm!!

I think as the others said it has more to do with your riding skill and ability than weight or height... i've ridden 12hh - 17.3hh with no problems, but someone less balance would possibly have problems if they don't 'help' the horse carry them.

oooooh i am so gonna get shot down for this but hey ho
my weight fluctuats a lot from 17 stone

(max recently around chrismas i was going through a lot only had bronte at the time and she had been lame so not riding much and i was miserable at uni)

to 11 stone

and i am somewhere inbetween the two at the mo aprox 15 stone

i ride many diffrent horses from my 14.2 dales pony to my 15.3 finely built ISH

i think alot of what u can ride is down to how u ride i alway get commented on how light i ride and no horses seem to struggle with me so dont worry hun im sure your just fine riding your neddy

*ducks insults now lol*

5'6" about 10/10.5 stones 15.2 7/8 bred but I rode his 15 hands 3/4tb,1/4AQH mum and I've realised I was far heavier. We could do the Senior Open at Pembrey without any problems.
