I'm trying to sell my pony but I'm not sure I'm asking the right price. I know it's the wrong time of year which has been made worse by the recession.
She's 14.2hh, coloured 3 yo cobx by Romany Jojo (sire of Burghley Young Event Horse winner and numerous show hunters, show jumpers etc.) I've had her from 7 months old and she's been well handled. She has been backed which was straightforward and has now been turned away for the winter. She has good conformation, lovely paces and a kind temperament. She was successfully shown in-hand over the summer and she behaved impeccably.
I am only selling her as I know I've taken on too much. She is my first youngster and I've loved it but when she was backed and then I had to ride her away I came off her a few times as she started to test me out. I'm just feel too old for this! (I'm 47) I know a confident, younger person will be much better for her.
I know she's going to be a fabulous horse, I only wish she was a few years older than she is now.
Please be honest in your comments, I won't be offended. Thanks.
