How much more will he grow

I have defended Birker on one of her posts as I felt some comments were unkind in nature and intention, and she then goes and undermines any standing she may have had by doing silly/awful things like that.
Sorry that's happened to you ID, lovely cobs though!

I also defended her but thought her post was way out of line.

I'm Dun - Birker was demanding apologies on the other thread, but I hope she'll now apologise to you

You definitely have a good eye for a cob. It's a shame the OP didn't have someone like you to advise her.

I have done the same in the past, and more recently too. But unfortunately, like you, I very quickly became aware of some very unkind posting and comments directed at others that really robbed me of any sympathy I might have had. Shame really some of her threads start of as very interesting but quickly descend into mayhem and disorder.

Birker has clearly got some problems going on and its affecting her behaviour. I have tried to be kind and helpful to her but decided to put her on UI as it was obvious in the last week or so there was something brewing aimed at me. I had no idea she wanted an apology and have no idea what for, as once she started being unpleasant I put her on UI. I think its best we all just leave it be. I absolutely do not want a re run of the applecart stuff. I haven't always behaved brilliantly due to outside stuff so lets just put it down to that and I'll leave her on UI and we can all move on.

I'm not going to add to what has already been written in terms of conformation and suitability but I have to say I'm surprised as the dealer involved does generally have a good reputation. Her horses are a bit overpriced IMO but she usually has some nice youngsters.

Irish cob, (avatar is a bit small to see) he’d lost condition over winter but still qualified for a London show (going back years, can’t remember what the exact show was). He was 14.2 when I got him, ended up at 15.1, he was a substantial lad. I have very similar stats to the OP, 5ft8, extremely long legs, apparently. I felt like a giant on him, having had a 17.2 warmblood prior to him, but he carried me fine. I had a lot of very qualified people around me and I listened to them.
