How much riding are you doing in this awful weather?!

2 horses a day, every day :)

Softshell breeches are my friend. FfionWinnie I am always hot when I'm riding, I can't wear a coat most of the time, but i don't overheat in my softshell breeches :) I team them up with a softshell jacket and away we go. This is the third winter in a row I've been doing injury rehab and I don't even notice the rain now unless it's really pelting down. Needs must :)

Cob needs work because she's on an upward trajectory and I don't want to stop now... I don't know what I'd do with my time if I wasn't busy like this though!

I just ordered some of these plastic pants re the other thread!!

What soft shell ones have you got? I'm always worried about getting the wrong size online.

I don't mind any weather at all as long as it's not leaking into my pants and down the inside of my chaps as it was last week!!

Must be a cob owner thing to be tough milliepops!

hahaha! yeah! check us out:devilish::drunk:

I've got Equetech ones, i don't know if they are making them this year but they are fab. If I was feeling super flush I'd have bought Cavallos as they fit me the best, but the normal microfibre ones are near on £150 so I can't possibly justify the extra :o
If you can cope with the ££ I do know Pikeur softshell is super duper lovely too. I had a jacket which was mega breathable but really quite waterproof.

I bought the same size as normal and they were fine, but they aren't terribly stretchy. i only notice it if I have to mount when I'm out and about instead of off a block at home. Just pull them up so you can bend your knee properly ;)

Love love love them, they make winter bearable. Changed my life! Those and headtorches, I couldn't cope without either.

I've been eyeing up the pikeur 😍 Might see if tack shop has them so I can try them on.

We are uber tough and will be rewarded next year with our highly competitive coblets!

Daisy wants me to tell your horses that a Rambo night rider rug (with neck part) has revolutionised her life when her idiot owner insists on riding in horrific conditions.

Yes, we will reap the rewards in ribbons!

Likely to have a bit more road scrambling in a little while so that's good to hear re rambo rug. I'll add it to the xmas list ;)
