As title, how often do you clean up after your dog (s) when they have used your garden?

And then what do you do with the poo?
A - bag n bin it
B- scoop and compost it
C- scoop and flush it
D- shovell and throw it over the hedge
E - none of the above, please explain

Hi I go round with my barrow after the horse are done in the morning and I just empty it on the dung heap with the horse poo. I much prefer picking it with a shovel to bags etc.

Chuck it in the neighbours garden as I hate them.
No seriously I don't
I try to do it twice a day as I never had a dog who craps as much as this!
He also likes running around the garden not looking where he puts his paws and then runs in mud and whatever is stuck to his tootsies. I have a bag in a bucket and then I usually triple bag it and put it in the bin on the day the bin men come.

Every other day and I bag it and bin it :).
Now the weather is nicer, I'll also pick up if the children are playing out there.
I have 1 dog who insists on pooping as soon as I've scooped , so there is always something to pick up.

I put never. Harley only ever toilets in our garden if he wakes in the middle of the night, and I can't remember the last time he did. If that happened we'd be out there next morning picking it up.

We're lucky in that we have a footpath/grass area 20 secs from our house, so OH gets up early with him and takes him over 1st thing. He then goes up the yard with me am and pm and gets a walk, and then we go back down the footpath last thing.

We always pick up of the footpath I'd like to add! We don't go there out of laziness!! lol! We go there because my husband is PRECIOUS about our lawn!! ha ha ha ha!

Everytime he goes we pick it straight up as its a communal garden for our block of flats and the neighbours kids play out there :)

Every day, morning and evening. Goes into a bucket full of disinfectant. When the bucket is full it gets put in a pile in the field to mulch down (it's a crappy scrubby field).

hmmm, that's a funny one. In the winter, can't even see the garden the hours I'm home - so I tend to do it only at the weekends. However, in the summer, I tend to do it every night or every second night. Small dogs and they tend to "hide" it in the bushes...though one small dog tends to do it not far from the door.

Mine tend to go mainly in the horses field and I pick up when I poo pick the field, that together with any from the garden goes on the muck heap.
Katielou, whats the secret of never having to pick up after your dogs!:D

Luckily my dog wont' go in our garden unless she is ill and has to, we rehomed her so not sure how she was toilet trained. I had to dig up 4 patio slabs and put a pee strip of grass down but she rarely goes on that either

Once a week ish. B does all her little poops in the same area, they then go in the bin on binday.

My parents do their huge garden once a week in the summer (so the gardeners don't whinge) and never in the winter. It all gets chucked into the field.

My new garden will be picked daily!

Daily, albeit miss the odd day in the winter if the weather is bad! I have 2 dogs and want to be able to enjoy my garden - and ditto the comments about dogs running around, I do not want doggy poo spread in my house. I put in a bag then every couple of days double bag and bin. When its really hot in the summer I bin every day though..

About once a month in the winter an once a week in the summer (we have separate garden for the kids to play in, so no dog poo worries there!) 1 big dog and 1 little dog, it all gets bagged up and put in the bin on collection days. At the yard I pick up as they do it (bagged and binned), can't stand the though of having to pick dog crap out of horses feet!!!

hevs - i snorted out loud at that lol!

every time they poop in the garden - which is rarely - generally only when they miss a moirning or evening walk - say at weekend when they only get a long evening walk

Never - we have no grass, only a tiny cobbled yard that she won't poo or wee on.

My OH takes her around the block at 7am every morning and she duly poos on the green, which is bagged and binned, and she poos again on the 11am walk where it's usually suitable to flick it aside rather than bag. Regular as clockwork. :)

Never. Tink isn't allowed to pooh in the garden. She goes on her morning walk, and again at lunch/afternoon. If for some reason she needs to go in the eve she goes to the front door and we take her out onto the lane. Back door means she just needs a wee. Very well trained. :D

 Your dog never does a poop ????
Or have I managed to misread 2 sentences ..... that'd be a record, even for me :o!!

No he poops but with the raw food he is feed it disintegrates within 2 or 3 days.

Of course he only poops once a day so if that is on a walk them we pick it up.

As I have 2 large dogs I have to have a big bucket and I try to pick up every day but sometimes it every other. It all goes on the compost heap and just rots down naturaly.

I pick it up (in bag) as he does it as i generally accompany him in the garden and pop it in an outside bin which gets emptied into the black bin on collection day once a fortnight. I find if we leave poops to pick up later then either the dog or us ends up treading in it.
