How often do you see your horses?

Twice a day, once a day on the odd occasion when out 24/7, but I've seen too many horses found with broken legs in the field to leave it any longer than that.

Even with mine on "everything but riding" livery either DH or I go up every day, although we don't need to. I like to spend some time with her that isn't work though so will go up just to say hello and give her a brush. When she was on DIY I went up twice a day if she was stabled and once a day if she was turned out but she is on a busy yard with staff who are up the fields regularly so if anything was seriously amiss they or other liveries would spot it. If there wasn't this kind of back up I would check her twice a day.

Once a day. My YO feeds and turns out all Horses on weekdays and I trust her completly. I go up after work. Then she will be checked again by YO when she comes up at night to feed hers. At the weekends I spend pretty much all day up there as I don't spend a lot of time up there during the week, especially now it's darker.

I do mine 3 times a day.

Out at 7.00
Go back up at 10 to muck out, poo pick, work him, and any other jobs
Go back at anytime between 4-6 depending on the weather, to bring in

I'm a single mum, so have to drag my son down the yard too, so try and keep time to a min when he's with me. Then I go back down with no worries about son. Thankfully the yard is close by.

minimum 3 x a day but often far more as they are at home. Always amazes me that some people can go days as things can go wrong very quickly as ive learnt. When on livery at least twice a day but in reality i just lived at the yard...

My two live out 24\7 and I check them at 7.45 am when I also feed and check water on the way to work, then again about 4.30 when I finish work when I poo pick feed, hay, and in summer ride. I rent grazing where there are lots of other people so we all kind of keep an eye on each others, eg my friends foal had broken through the fencing tonight so I caught him and put him back and fixed her fence. Its all give and take but works really well and no one takes the pee! There is one paddock where we know for a fact that the owners don't come more than once or twice a week...we all keep an eye on those and top up their water as needed. Not that we get any thanks for it but wouldn't see the horses go without!

rented field on a farm and they're out 24/7, in summer i visit once a day although a visit can be half the day lol, in the winter if it's particularly bad weather then i visit twice a day to make sure they have enough hay and water:)

Twice a day, every day, early in the mornings then at about 7ish in the evenings. Luckily I'm at a really nice yard who will also alert me if anything seems amiss in the meantime :)
If I can't make it for whatever reason my OH gets sent up or failing that the I'll ask the yard to check them over.

As they're at home I see them constantly and it's lovely to be able to just go out and visit them any time. When they were at livery, I'd go up twice a day (morning & evening) and sometimes even 3 times if I had a spare few hours and just wanted to see them.

I'm up there everyday evenings during the week, YO puts out in am, I do both am and pm at weekends.
I'd do weekday am's too if I could.

I couldn't possibly not check them, If I couldn't for some reason then I would certainly arrange for YO to do him.
even then I text to check him lol.

Every day, twice a day. No other option as just my & the Fuzzies, tho I do get the off weekend away in the summer when trusted friend cares for them :)
I quite like getting down there in the mornings, even at this time of the year at 6 :) tho its a pain when the weather does turn bad.........

Non- work days its 2 x 8 mile round trips & work days its a 8 mile round trip in morning & then in evening its straight to yard from work & then home doing about 12 miles.

When out 24/7 I only go in the morning, usually there 0800 til 1130 ish, but I also check on my friend's mare. She goes up in the evening and does the second check, I trust her and we've kept horses together since we were teenagers. YO also lives on site, her house is at the bottom of Markie's field, and is horsey so I think we're covered. Once they're in at night, I'll go up 3 evenings during the week.
We're a total DIY yard and at least half of the liveries all muck in together and help each other out. We also have some grass liveries who's owners aren't seen from one week to the next! Luckily, we also have some retireds in the fields next door. Part of my job is to check them, feet, feed, rugs etc, so, I tend to check the left behinds as well!

Once day depending on weather and field he is in. Isolated field twice day but at the moment he is seen probably most of the day by the neighbour with horses at home! I go once to poo pick etc and check mud monster over.

Mines on full livery. Some weeks I go up every day, others when I'm working away I might miss a day or two.

I still go up even when I'm not riding just to see her and I try to get up when I can to bring her in and give her her tea. I've found it's helped to build the bond quicker (only owned her for 6 months). I also groom most days.

Yard turn him out for me in the morning and I go up every day, late afternoon. I bring him in, muck out, ride, generally spend time with him. If my yard wasn't 17 miles away I would be up there twice a day. I couldn't not see him every day, even though yard would do him for me. I would miss him far too much!

Three times a day. Turnout and muck out before work, bring in during my lunch hour and skip out hay feed etc in the evening. I am very lucky that my house, yard and the office are all within a few miles of each other. If they were not then there is no way i could manage three on diy. Occasionally i have to work in london the result of which means being at the yard at 5am and heading back there at 8pm, not something i could do often!

Mine are at home, so quite a lot!
When on livery, twice to three times a day if I had to bring them in early or could only get in the arena at lunch time!
