How often do you wash your jods?

every time I wear them as I have enough pairs for everyday...plus I always get filthy no matter how hard I try to keep clean!
 
Every day even if only worn for 2 hours.Where the hell do you lot keep them when your not wearing them in the garage sounds the best place lol
 
Any of you want to link up with my sons they are 20 and 22 and will only wear a pair of jeans once,can wear 3 t shirts a day plus gym clothes and football .ha they are moving out in 2 months wonder if they will wash their clothes as often then.

When boys leave home they go one of two ways - either completely OCD and wash, iron and clean to death or are complete sluts whose clothes walk to the machine until they find a nice girlfriend to do it for them just like mum!!

mmm i have a son (altho slightly younger like that to)-shame he does not share his mothers tramp like qualities!!in fact i cant count how many times i have been told not to get out of car in dirty jods at school cos its and i quote sooooo embarrasing!!
 
normally once at the end of the weekend, only wear them if riding, muck out in others so at mo wear them for 2 or 3 rides in the week and then half a day each weekend day.

They are on a chair in my lounge (which is kinda the same as my bedroom as studio flat!)

Not sure if that is good enough to be tramp category, what do you think?
 
I have daughter 15 who has her own horse and she doesnt like me to be seen in mine or seen in hers lol like you said so embarrassinggggggggg I couldnt give a hoot we have a pub and I go in for coffee with hubby before I go home tough luck if they dont like the smell its my pub lol
 
I wear mine for a couple of days but I only have them on for about 2 hrs at a time. I don't see them as any different from any other item of clothing and I tend to wash most things after each wear.
 
exactly same for me cellie-always visit pub behind my yard after riding and far as im concerned we live out in the country so we should all enjoy the country smell!!!

It would have been at least 3 weeks ago!
They are on the bedroom floor now as we speak ready for me to wear tomorrow for riding!
 
Every 3/4 days unless they get really smelly/wet/slobbered ....or I fall over in the mud.

Yep we still have very deep mud (clay) in the winter fields.

Some people never seam to get dirty. I attract dirt.

is it not highly amusing to see someone in tescos or local pub immaculately turned out in high quality spotless jods ,boots,gilets etc etc when you are looking like the local mud wrestler!!makes you wonder if they ever go near their horse apart from to ride!!
 
oh irishdraftlover how i do agree with you
i recently went for a college interview at an equestrian college believe it or not and we had a riding assessment and everyone was in clean beige joddies long shiny boots, and i was in grey and black joddies that potentially havent been washed for sometime

and muddy falling apart half chaps and jodphur boots, (mind you they are Ariat not that you can tell but i know) and all i could wonder was when was the last time you mucked a horse out

haha mine are in the garage!

I wash mine every 2/3 days usually - more if they are totally bogging.

I find my jackets and jumpers get more dirty somehow - not sure how

Whole lot goes in the wash jods, jumpers - but not pjs
