Hi, I have a 16.3hh bay Belgium warmblood called Bacardi who has just started to jump at local BSJA shows no further than 1 hour away. He always travels by himself in a Equi trek space treka L which can take 17.2hh horse so space is not a problem
he always loads really well with no problem and travels rear facing with a haynet. However when we start to travel he stats to kick the rear wall and unless the show is no longer than 5 minuets away he comes out dripping wet in sweat
which is horrible for him and difficult when it comes to going in the class
He is six years old and i have only had him 6 months and has only started competing with me. He loves jumping and competing but his stress in the trailer is stop this.
I have stop competing at this time as my mam's car which tows the trailer has been in a accident so is now getting fixed and i don't want to take him any where cause of the stress
i have looked at travel mirrors but im not sure
Is there any other way of helping him? (sorry for overload of info
