How well did you do on your first ever BE??

Mine & Pepper's first BE was at Broadway Intro in 2005.
We had 37.5 dressage (goodness knows how, as his canter resembled that of a motorbike) & 1 fence down SJ which was the last fence

Then clear XC with 8.8 time faults, finishing 16th.
I was well chuffed!

my 1st event was last year at west wilts in june. i had entered about 5 before it but silly horse kept going lame.
luckily my horse did novice (unsucesfully) before i had him and we had a good dressage as i did lots of that before, then sj and xc clear with 8.2 time because i had no idea how fast i needed to go.
it has been fabulous ever since!
 
Draycott intro last season, 40 dressage double clear but 14 time to finish 20th .Was very pleased

Milton Keynes 2006. Had a bad dressage test for 45 penalties went clear showjumping and in the X-country warm up we sommersalted over a practise jump and my horse fell apart on the x-country course and we got eliminated a fence 3.
 
Had to look it up - Rosie's was PN at Burnham Market in April 2005 and she finished on her dressage score of 33.8 in 6th place. Was on the spotty horse, BB, and it was all downhill for the rest of that season.
 
First event was Intro at Munstead in 2005. Was rather overawed and very nervous. Mid 30's dressage but double clear and came 6th - very chuffed with that.

And that's more or less how things have continued with Rosie, average dressage but pull up in the scores with a clear in the SJ and invariably in the XC.

Also did my first Intro with new horse at Munstead too. Got 30.5 dressage. 1 time penalty in the XC to come 3rd. Did one other event on her at Borde Hill, came 8th. Then things went down hill fast and I sold her : (
 
Mine was the Junior Regional Novice at South of England in 1999.I was 16 and had done a few Pony club opens over BE tracks so was fairly confident.

Had an average dressage, the most awful untidy SJ round, and had 3 fences down, stormed round the cross country within the time. There were lots of time faults XC due to the mud, so Trev came 9th!!
 
Stockland Lovell PN in 2006. Did a 38.5 dressage, 2 down Sjing and clear XC

12th at Moreton Morrell intro.
37 dressage, 2 down SJing and clear but 10 time penalties xc on my seriously spooky mare Bal.
She was a star tho, came 7th and 8th the next two times.
