Now, I MAY be over-reacting (moi, nooo! ;) ) but, Seren now has sticky fluid by the bucket load, is a complete jelly bum and Im sure her belly has dropped - piccys from about an hour ago...just in case you missed the other g'zillion Ive posted! Sorry, Im a pain in the asss!! :D

Dad has just come in after doing an extra check on her with a wry smile and the words 'promising' - which to a farmer is the equivalent of hopping foot to foot and clapping!! x
 
Its the yellow dog that makes all the difference Elle!!!
I have the whole family (inc over excited jrt!!) doing the kitchen foal dance at the mo! lol! xx
 
Am in trouble with the OH for hyping said yellow dog up with a bit of foal dancing!! He is currently playing 'put the head in the mouth' with my other dog- the yellow dog playing that, not the OH!!

Hope it works tho, she looks much closer, just need some dripping milk and away she will go...... :D
 
yep i have all that as well and still no foal!
Im saying not tonight that way Seri will want to prove me wrong!

More likely the other way round, the yellow dog is ridiculously huge!!!!!! Not much smaller than the littlest Hannibal who is a shetland :D

Daft mutt, other dog is teeny, JRT x dachund (sp) so his lil head fits a treat in yellow dogs mush :D

Come on Seri, PUSH, my living room can't cope with much more yellow dog foal dancing :D

Good luck!! Meant to be raining tonight and its worked for all the mares I've been round this year, rains & out pops a foalie!!! Hope it works for you & Dianchi!!

Ps, the boys are loaded up in reinforced truck & on their way to you :D little monsters :D
 
Sorry to dissapoint you all :( Still no foal :( Seri grazed all night so muggings here had to get up every hour or so to check she wasnt spitting it out into her waterr bucket or under the fence to Melly.
Thoroughly fed up I have to admit. Im joining Dianchi in the pre-foaling blues.
Going to bed for a few hours as working this afternoon. Be sods law that I get a call from Dad (or the gardener at the farm I keep the girls) saying Ive got a foal.
Statistically more than likely to miss it, but I will be so cross if I do after spending nearly 2 weeks sleeping on a shelter floor!

Elle, Ill do you a swap, Ill have the dancing doggys and you can have the fat never foaling pain in the arse! ;) xx
 
just to let you know... same here. my big fat lazy trout of a mare has been waxed up since the 7th, now has an oedema line along her belly, and is showing no signs of getting on with it. milk test last night said No as well.
btw a friend on fb - her mare waxed up last night, dropped a v nice filly early this morning. Niiiiiice.

My stinker keep me waiting all of March, started foal watch on the 1st, she popped Hazel out on the 31st, but I forgot the tourment of foal watch approximately 1 good sleep later :D

Enjoy your nap this pm, is definately well deserved!!!! I'll be on with the foal dancing tonight after CountryFile

Kerilli, thats just ruddy typical isnt it! Lovely for your friend, but grrrrrrrrrr!!!
This morning I was ready to say d'ya know what, foal it yourself, sod you, Im done.... but a sleep has made things slightly better, and now I only want to kill her a little bit! :)

Elle, I remember (vaguely - things are pretty hazy in my head at the mo!!) you having the never ending foal watch! Do you seriously forget the endless nights, and discomfort and the lack of sleep? I dont think Im ever going to forgive Seri!!!
This morning, anyone could have had her for free...plus delivery... this avo she's worth a bit more than that, however she may go back into negative equity depending on what sort of night we have! I still want your dancing puppies! Have you warned your OH about the post countryfile danceoff?? :D xx

Not told the OH about the post CountryFile foal dance, will leave it as a nice surprise for him!!!

Certainly did forget the sleepyhaze of foal watch, so much so my other mare (phantom foal mummy) is off in a week or two to get in foal too :D

Have been there for a few other foalings this year, but they were all civalised (latest one 11.55pm) but would have done foal watch then too if needed, sleep, me, nah its over rated :D

Once the sleep levels are filled up and there is a cutey foal giving you kisses over the door and making cute squeaky sounds whenever it sees you foal watch is banished from the mind......

.....of course it could just be that I have a very short memory/small brain.......

Dianchi has just announced her baby has arrived, so its just me, kerilli, and the yellow dancing dog! :D xx
