Pixxie on here was having a saddle fitting a few days ago and her horse spooked and she fell off into the fence, She is in hospital with 4 badly broken ribs and in agony. They think that she will be there for the rest of the week and probably not be able to go back to college until after xmas.

So please, all the get well vibes you can muster.

Oh poor thing, that sounds really nasty. Similar thing nearly happened to me earlier this year, new saddle being fitted, Che took exception to it, had a bit of a panic attack and almost collapsed on his knees into the fence. Sounds like saddle fitting can be a bit hazardous! Get well soon vibes to Pixxie.

If anyone speaks to her then pass this on - was having saddle fitted on new horse on Friday and went to jump a 2 ft cross pole. He jumped it HUGE and I got catapaulted out of saddle and landed very hard on my left seat bone. Have got deep bruising to bum & lower back, strained muscles in lower back, sprained wrist and cricked neck. Saddle fittings are dangerous!!

Yes, I called her last night to see when she was coming to see my boys and she said she was in hospital, she was totally morphined up!! She just wanted the saddler to check he hadn't grown in the saddle and he was a bit on his toes, he spooked and she came off into the fence. She sounded awful so am hoping everyone's vibes will help her!!
