How horrible for everyone!

But glad to hear he's seeming a bit better. It's so nice when they recover from the shock and go back to their normal selves a bit, we are nursing one of our youngsters after his accident flipping over a fence. Sending lots of vibes for a good recovery. I hope something gets done about designing a really safe gate latch and making sure similar accidents can be prevented.

Hi WonderHorse, was just wondering how your friends horse is recovering after their terrible incident with the gate post/latch. How's the wound(s) healing now - has your rider recovered. Looks like there has been another incident with a gate on the H&H forum reported today. Hope horse and rider are ok.

Just to avoid any confusion the post today entitled follow on Hugs needed - etc is about this post.

I was contacted by MK RoW and have now made contact with Bucks CC RoW and BHS. Bucks CC have asked me to let them know of any gates with this type of latch so they can be changed for ones without the rotating spiked wheel. So, if you live/ride in Bucks and have had problems please pm me.

Also, glad to hear neddy starting to make slow recovery.
