I'm sure he'll be snapped up in no time!
Personally, I think he looks badly put together behind and I wouldn't fancy feeding it or finding a big enough lorry/trailer, stable or bridle!
 
I saw the advert earlier! I definitely wouldn't want to be feeding a horse that big, he must go through a lot of hay and feed!
Also...what a long way to fall!! :lol:
 
I bet he's not that big - I'm 5'4 and don't look that much bigger on my 17.1 - 19.3 would really be crazy - if he's genuinely 10 inches taller than my big horse - honestly how would you tack him up?
 
Daniella randino is a really decent dealer, I've bought a horse from her and been very impressed with her honesty

She's about 5ft 3.....there must be plenty of chaps over 6ft that struggle to find a horse to fit?
 
Flat backed, cow hocked camel with poor movement. Highly unlikely that conformation would pass the vet and as for staying sound, dream on !
 
He could be a very smart hack/light hunter for a tall chap?

One of my tribe has questionable conformation, flat backed, odd looking hocks, funny shaped bum but at 20 she's sounder than the rest and regularly jumps 1m 20.....having said that she's not nearly 20 hands......
 
I used to 'ride' (climb on/vaguely direct) an 18.3 shire about 15 years ago, and I had to stand on a tractor trailer to get on. The idea of finding a saddle was laughable.

I do agree that he's not wonderfully put together, but he has a very kind face. If I had a circus or needed to rescue children from an upstairs window or to test the effects of riding at altitude, I think he'd be ideal.
 
He's not the best model of a horse is he, I'm not a fan of those flat top lines and he does look like he struggles to bend much. He's also 11 so not going to change much now. That said, if he's that safe and would live out he might be worth his weight in gold for the taller person to have some fun with.
 
Not the nicest type of horse, wonder what he actually measures on the stick, if he is a full up 19.3 or not ! Is it just me, or does he look lame on his right hind? he's not very well put together at the back anyway but on the right corners I am sure I can see him taking lame steps. might just be his size and struggling to balance, but looks quite off.
ETA- i want to know how he is bred!

It says he's a WB can't remember what make from the ad- maybe Swedish? There's certainly sounder horses about ;)
 
I ride an 18.2hh Clydesdale regularly and really enjoy riding him :) not usually a fan of big horses but I do rather like that one. 19.3hh IS possible for those who said it isn't - I used to know a 19.1hh. But as others have said, it would eat rather a lot! And bigger horses usually come with the question of how long will they stay sound - unless they are a big breed e.g Shire/Clydesdale.

I can't beleive he's 19.3?😮 I've met an 18.3 Shire X and he was a syscraper! But 19.3? How big does a Polish Warmblood get??😆
 
There was a huge grey wb at a yard I was at briefly, 18hh, dunno if he was Polish. He dwarfed my 17.2hh Hanoverian, so maybe more than 18hh. He had the biggest stable on the yard, of course!
 
I have met horses on 19h mark at a Percheron stud in France so yes some horses really do get that big! This fella though I suspect is more like 18.2/3 and dealer has added a few inches to make him seem more impressive. Conformation is poor but not drastically so but his trot is not upto much and canter is disunited and ungainly so I would seriously be wanting a good osteo to look at his pelvis and back before parting with any money. You never know with proper schooling and good physio he could show good improvement movement wise and he does seem a willing chappie but as is, Dealer is asking way too much money for him IMHO.

Or how about just getting a qualified vet to look at the horse's back etc instead of a person who has no qualification to diagnose or treat?
