Sadly no photos of it as I forgot my phone.

He was very good and swam for a full 15 minuets. He did look TERRIFIED for the first 5 minuets though, you could see him going 'Oh ****, oh ****, oh ****'. Once he realised he could float he relaxed a bit but didn't look 100% happy but then considering he won't go near a puddle I wasn't expecting him to love it. I was very proud of him though. He REALLY didn't like the blow dryer though.....may have to skip that next time.

I do have some recent photos/a video for you though. The video is pretty boring, right after I stopped it they played tag around the coffee table but I missed it.

The dressing up has begun :p

Yay go Jack! :D When is he going to do his competent swimmer badge!?! :p :D
Glad he didnt find it too distressing, I'm sure eventually he will love it.
I cant believe how much Quila has grown! and nice to see Jack has given in on being nonchelant grumpy big brother and now enjoys a good play with her! :)

Lol....I'm not sure he'll be ready for that for a while, got to get him to not look like I'm trying to kill him first ;)

I have to admit I'm chuffed too. It has to be on his terms not hers but they do play a lot more now. He's still nonchalant grumpy big brother 70% of the time though :p

They just aren't water babies are they? You lucky thing... bet you never have to stand next to filthy drainage ponds shrieking like a banshee for them to GET OUT OF THERE RIGHT NOW!;)

Quila has got no fear....she keeps trying to dive into the canal! Not such a fan of baths though...now the mites are gone if she would stop rolling in smelly things she wouldn't need one :p

Yay! Good for him. I am sure he will grow to love it.
When we first started doing dock diving with Abe we started in a small hydro pool with the hoist and he scrabbled and whined and gave me evil death stares but now he is jumping in from the edge of a big pool.

Aw bless Jack and his little legs working overtime to keep him afloat :D

Quila has grown so much - their faces in the shower are fab - giving your Mum death stares "what are you doing to me woman?" lol

I swear she's part spangle! I missed her best death stare at the camera though, well I didn't miss it but the door was too steamed/wet for you to see it.

She's grown lots, she's nearly 5 months now....I need to start doing more work with her really but I can't do lead work (docs orders) and we can only work on recall when we take them somewhere different which means relying on when mum is free to drive.

She's really loving 'trick' work though....I'm running out of ideas though.

Why are you taking her swimming? Just being nosey!:)
Emma is going for her second session tomorrow as she needs to strengthen a bit behind. Tojo went for a long time when he was growing.

dozzie - we're talking Jack because although we worked VERY hard to get him from obese to just slightly porky we've been trying for a year to get him from slightly porky to normal/lean. He's very...erm....laid back so we'd just hit a wall as we can't feed him any less. I'm hoping this extra work out will do the trick. He's also had a few hip problems (just jarring and slight lameness) so I'm hoping this will strengthen him up too.

SU - Quila said she'd love to as long as he doesn't bark at her like the scary giant goldie she met the other day.

Oh yes I remember now. It should do him the world of good!

I bought Tojo a Thermatex dog coat for the winter months instead of drying him off with a dryer ( it would take an age with a mastiff!) I think I got it at Badminton. Well worth the investment!:) I paid about £30 for it but had no choice of colour due to the size! If you are out and about at county shows I would definitely recommend a look at the thermatex stand!:)

Fab I'm so glad you found somewhere!! Only onwards and upwards to shift the last of the stubborn weight now! :)
Glad he didn't find it too horribly devastating! It will only get better and easier :)
