Haha, it's already dirty, thats why I took piccies when it was clean, it won't ever be that clean again
There are 30 stables but in no way are we wanting to fill them all up right now, just want to have it half full and get used to it all. I have hardly advertised yet either.
carthorse- Thats my fault, I've always lead my horse to the mounting block then walked up to get on. Whenever I walked up the steps at the same time the horse would drift away
I can honestly say that I have throughly enjoyed watching the birth of your yard, I think that you and your sister have done a wonderful job and deserve to be proud of yourselves.
I wish you the very best of luck, and lovely (and appreciative) clients.
Yes, where the stables are the building is purpose built. The stables are IAE Equestrian and made of recycled plastic. PP was quite easy to get thank god and took a few months to achieve.
How long ago was it when you were knocking down the old buildings and clearing space ready to start?
I have really enjoyed all of the updates along the way and it's great to finally see it all completed. Best of luck with your business venture. It's a truly brilliant yard.
Now.....how to do I convince Duncan to sell the cows and follow suit?
) well there will for us as farming sheep simply makes no money
Building started last July, that was the very start of pulling the old buildings down, the builders had a month off aswell, so nearly 9 months of building.

That's where my problems lie.....dairy farming is on the up now that we've signed exclusivity contracts with Tesco. 29ppl and we supply 2600 litres each day (or thereabouts).
Maybe they could afford to branch out and put a new shed up for some liveries? I have two liveries in my little stable block who are fab but it'd be nice to have purpose built facilities and be kept away from the cows, self contained.
Are you having a XC course put in anywhere? Not sure how many acres of land you have.
stunning and loads of thought shown! The very best wishes for your yard for a successful future!
I would be making personal use of the solarium! specially in winter! Lovely!
