I had an accident with the wheelbarrow(ha ha), full of muck when pooh picking, it went down in a rutt and got a terrible pain in my pelvis. Next day I jumped off my Cobby forgeting that I was wearing thin soled boots and got another nasty pain in hip. Then the next day duplicated the incident with the wheelbarrow again, doing usual paddock chore, and finally got chucked of my horse when a fly got under his fly mask when out riding, and wrenched the leg again.
Had X ray, doc thinks the hip joint is damaged in some way, but no break evident ATM. Possibly sacro-iliac joint involved. Will be seeing Orthopaedic Consultant next for an ultra -sound scan . - I am so fed up and bored !!
Have to watch telly all day and read books (yawn)
I have just moved my horse to a new field and everyone is going to things and out riding, having fun and its the first time in a long while that I have had people to ride out with and to go to events with and farmer has built a super new sandschool too.
Everyone is being really kind and helpful, looking after my horse and even trying to find someone to ride him while I am out of action.
I am just hoping that its not a long term thing.
last time I was in a wheelchair for 4 months, - so please lots of HHO vibes for me!!
