No you haven't Sue! There are no flames, no nastiness, just good natured gentle fun-poking because you came across a bit school-ma'mish. One of my early threads came across that way and I received a fair bit of joshing too.

I have a bit of a tendency to school-ma'mishness, according to my friends. I of course know they're wrong and if they say it again I'll give them one of my stern stares, or possibly put them in detention.






ps I'm glad I got the word joshing in there. A great under-used word I think. I'll give myself a gold star for that.

You are new to HHO so I will (this one time only) forgive your HUGE misconception that you have been shot down in flames. All you have received in HHO terms is a mild warming of a few extremeties.
When (note I didn't say if) you are flamed you will realise the error you have made. :p

I wander off for a few hours, fully expecting to come back to peace and tranquility, but what do I find?! Chaos and mayhem, and the absolute worst of all WOFFLE (anything else is a rather tasty cakie thingy :cool::p).

Well. It's Thursday. I know this because yesterday, as in today's yesterday, not yesterday's yesterday because that would have resulted in 'Tuesday', whereas I'm aiming for ending with a 'Wednesday'. Well, I say 'ending', but in reality I was going for next Friday, but that's not as in tomorrow; not unless you're going to be clever and say "a week tomorrow", which incidently, if you were aiming for next Friday you could only say it today otherwise who knows where you'd end up. Chaos!

I feel that I might be a tad lacking in the wordsmithiness shown by so many of our good friends on here. Will take self off and try harder.

Maybe I should start a post stating my entire dislike of short posts... There's a thought... Only I like AmyMay, so that's not good as an option :eek::cool:

I could, if one felt the need to read full and useful woffle, recite the EU Remedies Directive in its entirety? No? Ah well. In that case, I will go and try and put it into words of half a syllebul to help my more erudite (no idea what it means, but like the sound :eek::D) colleagues.

*wanders off trying to count the words used to date, drops a few, trips over two more, gives up and sits in a contended heap surrounded by lots and lots and lots of interesting and fascinating wordettes*

It was my lunch hour. I wanted a long thread to read. The choice seemed to be this one or the murderer one (which now seems to be about bullying?).

Glad I chose this one, it has really cheered me up. I have always admired AmyMay's ability to make a point succinctly. I am a waffler (is that a word).

That got my hopes up until I realised you meant a different Dave. Also wondered how you knew my real name but I guess you didn't but now you do so perhaps I shouldn't have said anything in the first place.
