Did my 2nd ever be today, the 80 at Coombelands. Was super pleased with 35 dr, big improvement on 43 at. Borde hill, plus got 3 x 8's :).
Had one down Sj, again an improvemt as we had 3 down last time.
Thought I had gone clear xc, so was really chuffed, had 4 too fast time penalties, but now realise I had missed a fence so was eliminated! If I had not done that I probably would not have had the too fast penalties, and would have been placed.
What a Wally!! Still, very pleased, and looking on it as a confidence giving run, onwards and upwards for next year :)

Well done of the other 2 parts! Don't worry we have all be there, last year at my horses 1st UA event, I was lying in 2nd but jumped down the wrong drop! Best of luck at you next comp. :)

well done anyway :D and you will be more careful next time. we've all been there ! I frequently make an idiot out of myself when competing :p

I did that at the last hunter trials I went to - it happens to us all! Well done today anyway, you looked like you were having a great time. Belated hello, I felt too sick to start saying "hello I'm SuziQ77 from HHO" outside the showjumping, but I was the one on the other grey that isn't Nicnac's grey. Next time I see you I will talk I promise! Here's to next season, with some Felbridge CT and SJ over the winter :-)

Oh, are you the lady on the very elegant grey, and you said I can't watch any more or I'll be sick outside the Sj? Beautiful horse if that was you?

Haha yes that was me - I've had a reaction to a flu jab, it wasn't just the SJ honest, although to be fair it is my least favourite part by a long way! I was feeling rather serious about my princess's eventing debut and was desperate not to let her down which wasn't helping either!! Thanks re Betty, she know she's beautiful but I still tell her every day :)

Well done and bad luck. You're not the first (and certainly won't be the last) to miss out a fence - beware the 'learning the wrong test' error by the way. Very exciting that was especially as the rider only realised when she was in the warm up and had paused to watch a couple of others before she went in :D

At least it is not just me! Rosiefan, I checked which test about 75 times before the day, just to make sure, shame I wasn't so thorough with the xc haha.
Looking forward to meeting everyone next year then. I love eventing, it is so friendly!

Was lovely to meet you now I know who you are! We need to have some special nod nod wink HHO thing. Great day for all and here's to a great 2015 eventing season for all.

Watched a BE at Wilton in the summer and heard a rider yelling at people to get out of his way - if he hadn't have missed a fence out, there wouldn't have been people in his way!

My husband has never ever let me forget being eliminated in a SJ class for going before the bell 25 years ago!!!
