Yard called to say Jay was down in the field,as standard practice they get them up to check they are ok ( yard check all horses 3 times a day ) and he didnt want to get up, when he did get up he was reluctant to walk but they did get him going.
Hes been stiffer on his hinds the last few days, he has suspensory damage and arthiritis already so I am really hoping its a case of its time to manage with pain killers and nothing more, hes only 19 and been retired 2 years now.
Called vet and they decided it wasnt an urgent case so out tomorrow at 9.30am, not going to sleep tonight i bet.
Any finger crossing would be fantastic x
