Having bought a car so I can get out of London a bit more, I've agreed to share a horse two days a week
He's a 16.3hh Selle Francais gelding, 16yo with a touch of arthritis in his coffin joint so he can't do much jumping. He's bred for dressage and has beautiful paces so I'm hoping I can do some schooling, hacking and a few lessons on him. One day I'll move out of central London and get my own, but I'm so excited about having a share!
The only possible downside is my OH has started riding and we used to have lessons at the same time (at a place quite far from the share horse). The owner of my share has suggested North Cray riding school which is very close to the livery stables. Does anyone on here know it, and any comments good or bad? Feel free to PM!
