Yes ladies and gents.

I have found the ultimate dog chew.

Abe loves them, they are super hard wearing and no nasty plastic.

I give you......deer antlers.

We now have 4 and i can't rate them highly enough. Abe doesn't like to chew all the time but when he does he destroys.

He destroyed his super kong (the black one) in about an hour but these have lasted weeks so far and every time i look at him he is hoarding them chewing each one for a few minutes each.

Oooh! Can't imagine they'd be too thick on the ground here though - and I doubt I'll be able to bring any back, I'd say they count as an animal product!

I tried to stock them ages ago but do you think I could get anyone to agree to exporting them or taking them on wholesale? I might try again

I read somewhere that American deer can get a condition similar to BSE which is probably why certain parts of them can't be imported as a foodstuff?

Do they not get shed after the rut and grow again? I think they'd be quite 'humane', fed as a chew after being collected rather than as a by-product of a kill?
