:D :D :D :D

I know your all thinking so what, right?

After I got bolted with by a horse last year I have been petrified of going in fields. I have been walking around the field with him for the last couple of weeks and then gradually started trotting and cantering him in it.
Then I popped a little fence.

Then we ended up jumping this decent sized log:

And this very skinny, skinny (the poles are only up because we cba to change the jump)

Excuse face pulling I was a bit nervous :o

Thanks for the nice comments, Andy always looks like he's enjoying himself bless him.

They were taken yesterday ;)

My aim for this year is to get round a xc  I should be getting my air jacket next month so it might make me a bit more confident. :)

I have been following your threads with interest as had also lost my confidence with a bolter, and am slowly starting to regain in-but like you am also terrified of open fields! So can you please share your confidence with me so it can be me next! :D:)
Well done!

Woo! Well done you :)
I've yet to test my big lad over jumps in the feild yet, I feel it may become like the wall of death with a few leaps in it...

Andy's got such a sweet expression, he always looks like he's trying his hardest! Left loads of air over the skinny, lovely jump! :)

Ah! He's looking fab! Really lovely little horse :D I have managed to conquer my (slightly irrational) fear of solid fences with Len :D Fantastic feeling!

Very shiny pony too :)

He looks really good now K, well done! Clearly all that feeding is fattening him up, looks in great condition! And well done overcoming your fear, you don't look scared in the slightest ;)

Thank you everyone :D
He is very shiney and I left his face on because I didn't want it getting cold. :p
I don't know why the fields all of a sudden look so green but they are brown again now after all teh rain we've had today :(

KVH I hope you get over it soon, very tough and when ever I feel the slightest bit out of control I freeze up! I think I'm getting there now I also trust Andy a lot. :)

I've been following your threads too. Honestly, your little horse is an angel. Look how far you've come already with him .In an open field, in a snaffle, JUMPING!! Fantastic!! very very well done, onwards and upwards.

Thank you everyone :D

Thanks-yes same! I have a very trustworthy lad now, however it's so hard to get the memories of the previous horse's bolting out of my head! You are way ahead of me in the confidence stakes..I am jealous! :o:D
(His weight is certainly looking better too!)

I think he looks wise in his face, he's always looking after me (much needed most of the time :o)

You'll get there kvh, it suddenly clicked with me that its not that bad and you can actually start enjoying it :) Fingers crossed everything goes well for you and just heads up rescue remedy works a treat! :)

I would get more weight on him before you ODE. Love him but he is still very skinny imo, thats not critism hun - I reckon he will start pilling the weight on in the summer - dont work him too hard til then
