So very sorry for your sudden loss. His strength, compassion and love for you came through every post when you talked about him.
Glad to hear about the support from friends & neighbours, and, as it has been expressed by others on the forum, I would be honoured to help or support in any way I can.
Oh Red, my heart absolutely aches for you. I am so sorry. He sounded like such a lovely man, and you had a nice life together. Of course, life will go on, but it's not always going to be easy, and at times you might not be ok, and that's fine. Take care of yourself, and I'm sure Rigsby and the rest of your animals will be there to help lift you up. My condolences.
So very sorry to hear your sad news. You always sounded like a great team so I can imagine your feeling of loss and the shock of it. Take care of yourself and take each day as it comes. Dx
I am so, so sorry to read about your loss. It's shocking and seems so very unfair. I'm glad you have lots of people around to support you and I know you will have lots of support here too. Not rushing to make any decisions sounds very sensible to me. You're in my thoughts.
I am so very sorry for your loss.
I am mostly a long time lurker but have followed yours and Rigs journey the whole way.
Wishing you the strength to get through this and I'm sure all your animals will help you xx
Red I am so, so sorry.
Life can be unbelievably cruel.
In your photos you are both so happy, I hope all your happy memories will bring you some comfort.
It sounds as you have truly good people around you. Do lean on them.
As Mrs M says, we are here for you.
Sending love x
So sorry Red. As we age this scenario sometimes crosses my thoughts, it must be so awful in reality. I hope your memories of recent happy days will bring you comfort in time x
Oh Red, I don’t know what to say. I’m so very sorry. I can’t even imagine. Such a lovely photo of him in the Lancaster. I wish I could offer more practical support to you.
Gosh Red, I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. What an incredible shock for you. Words can’t help but all I can say is the grief comes in waves, they do eventually get smaller. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I cant recall where about you are but I’m back in the UK soon and if nearby (Lancs), I‘ll offer my support if you need anything.
Red I am so very sorry it is impossible to put in to words. Everything you ever said about David described a wonderful, caring, loving and knowledgeable partner who supported you through the hard times - and they were hard - and who shared the fun times with gusto. He was too young to leave and you are in my thoughts.
l am so very sorry. I can't imagine the shock you have had and the grief you are experiencing. To lose your partner like that from the wonderful life you had together must be overwhelming. I'm glad that you've had some help already from people around you and they continue to support you.
I’m so sorry for your loss. He looks a lovely man and I’m glad you had good days before this happened. One step at a time and don’t make any hasty decisions that you may regret.
Oh god Red I've just opened this thread and really didn't expect to read your awful news. I'm so terribly sorry and those words just don't seem enough right now. I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling.
That's a fabulous picture of David in an awesome aircraft. Life is so incredibly unfair
I've no idea where you are IRL but please shout on this forum if you need help xxx
OMG Red-1, although I'm new around here have followed Yours and Rigsby's story. I cannot begin to know what you are going through at the moment, but am sending my sincere condolences.
Take care x
Oh Red, I am so, so sorry. Life can be so unfair, and to lose him like this, so young is just cruel. Your love and rightness for each other shone through so many posts.

Oh Red, I’m so sorry for your loss. Mr Red always sounded like a wonderful man whenever you spoke about him. What a loss to you and your families. Be kind to yourself & the HHO community are here for you alongside your real life people x
I am so sorry for your loss. This was not what I was expecting to read when I opened your thread. Take one day at a time. Sending you a virtual hug. Take care. x
I went out to do the horses, and just like that, a Lancaster Bomber flew low right overhead. He would have loved it. He felt very close and very far away.
I might email the Lancaster people we visited and tell them how much their day experience meant to us both. Theirs does not fly but they are restoring it. I might ask for donations to them in lieu of flowers.
Red I am so very sorry for your loss, I wish there was something practical I could do to help, but am a pm away and don't sleep much if you want a late night or any time chat to someone. Huge hugs xxx
I think your idea of asking for donations towards the Lancaster's restoration is an excellent one
Flowers are lovely but donations to something more permanent seems like creating a lasting memorial
