Oh Red, my heart absolutely aches for you. I am so sorry. He sounded like such a lovely man, and you had a nice life together. Of course, life will go on, but it's not always going to be easy, and at times you might not be ok, and that's fine. Take care of yourself, and I'm sure Rigsby and the rest of your animals will be there to help lift you up. My condolences.

I am so, so sorry to read about your loss. It's shocking and seems so very unfair. I'm glad you have lots of people around to support you and I know you will have lots of support here too. Not rushing to make any decisions sounds very sensible to me. You're in my thoughts.

Red I am so, so sorry.
Life can be unbelievably cruel.
In your photos you are both so happy, I hope all your happy memories will bring you some comfort.
It sounds as you have truly good people around you. Do lean on them.
As Mrs M says, we are here for you.
Sending love x

Gosh Red, I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. What an incredible shock for you. Words can’t help but all I can say is the grief comes in waves, they do eventually get smaller. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I cant recall where about you are but I’m back in the UK soon and if nearby (Lancs), I‘ll offer my support if you need anything. ❤️

Red I am so very sorry it is impossible to put in to words. Everything you ever said about David described a wonderful, caring, loving and knowledgeable partner who supported you through the hard times - and they were hard - and who shared the fun times with gusto. He was too young to leave and you are in my thoughts.

l am so very sorry. I can't imagine the shock you have had and the grief you are experiencing. To lose your partner like that from the wonderful life you had together must be overwhelming. I'm glad that you've had some help already from people around you and they continue to support you.

Thinking of you and your lovely animal family x

Oh god Red I've just opened this thread and really didn't expect to read your awful news. I'm so terribly sorry and those words just don't seem enough right now. I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling.

That's a fabulous picture of David in an awesome aircraft. Life is so incredibly unfair

I've no idea where you are IRL but please shout on this forum if you need help xxx

I went out to do the horses, and just like that, a Lancaster Bomber flew low right overhead. He would have loved it. He felt very close and very far away.

I might email the Lancaster people we visited and tell them how much their day experience meant to us both. Theirs does not fly but they are restoring it. I might ask for donations to them in lieu of flowers.

I'm sure they'd be pleased to hear how much the visit meant to you both, in such sad circumstances.

I'm sure HHO would like to know if you choose a charity or organisation. I, for one, would be pleased to donate.
