That's lovely news! So happy for you (and Rigs who has a new trimmer).
I am glad of this! I am still trimming BH at the moment, but Rigs' feet are like blocks of wood and take a lot of energy to trim! Plus, he is a bit stiff behind and leans on me. WBF (Wonderful Boy Friend) is also looking at adapting/making a better hoof stand for that.

We have a top trimmer coming next month to teach WBF what to look for properly as, so far, his only guidance was a 5 minute video, and he researched that himself and it was one to prep the foot for shoeing. All I did in addition was to say that, for barefoot, we bevel the edges.

Meanwhile, we are off cycling out for breakfast this morning, are in a running club followed by a meal on Tuesday, have entered a Sportive and a Triathlon for this summer, so are training together. Just little fun ones, but it is a focus. Last night a candlelit meal followed by dancing in the kitchen.

Magic anyway but, after the few years I've had, it is so good it is disorientating. WBF is just so kind and loving. I don't really care two hoots if he never touches a horse again and have made it clear that it is only if he finds it fun.

That all sounds amazing! You deserve some happiness and it sounds like WBF (I think the W is necessary) is giving you that. I wish you both lots of fun, success and magical adventures both big and small.

I am having to work up to that. We met online and I realised that he was very different than me, but we simply clicked. I hate dancing, but dancing is in his blood. I don't tend to go away much, but that is also in his blood.

The dancing I am tackling, slow dance in the kitchen last night. We have our first Salsa dancing lesson tomorrow night. I am excited to have new directions to go in. I am enjoying the journey and the change.

God I love dancing and I'm married to a lovely man (as you know) who doesn't. If you decide he's not a keeper, can we swap?

Thank you all for your good wishes. It explains why I have barely logged onto here in the past couple if weeks. I've been too busy.

If I had known I was going to meet WBF, I wouldn't have booked the horseback safari in June! But, I'm sure I'll enjoy it and at least the journey seems less daunting now WBF is driving me to Heathrow, which cuts out a taxi and 2 trains! Even better, he's picking me up on the way home, when I'll be exhausted.

Life just seems different; richer and with colour. I can perfectly well manage independence, but being in a loving relationship is a whole lot different than managing. Reciprocation of caring is magical.

Ah, but now you get the horseback safari and WBF!
And having someone to pick you up at the airport is the best! (Arrivals can be a lonely experience when everyone else seems to meeting up with loved ones and you've just got to find a taxi)

The world is built for couples. I'm so pleased for you that you got a second shot at it Red.
