Red-1
I used to be decisive, now I'm not so sure...
I am glad of this! I am still trimming BH at the moment, but Rigs' feet are like blocks of wood and take a lot of energy to trim! Plus, he is a bit stiff behind and leans on me. WBF (Wonderful Boy Friend) is also looking at adapting/making a better hoof stand for that. That's lovely news! So happy for you (and Rigs who has a new trimmer).
We have a top trimmer coming next month to teach WBF what to look for properly as, so far, his only guidance was a 5 minute video, and he researched that himself and it was one to prep the foot for shoeing. All I did in addition was to say that, for barefoot, we bevel the edges.
Meanwhile, we are off cycling out for breakfast this morning, are in a running club followed by a meal on Tuesday, have entered a Sportive and a Triathlon for this summer, so are training together. Just little fun ones, but it is a focus. Last night a candlelit meal followed by dancing in the kitchen.
Magic anyway but, after the few years I've had, it is so good it is disorientating. WBF is just so kind and loving. I don't really care two hoots if he never touches a horse again and have made it clear that it is only if he finds it fun.
