I just offered D1 the ride on Dizz for the Eland ODE in August

Little Cob tied up. Not sure if he will be fit enough to do the ODE in August, which D1 had set her sights on.

So, after my angst, etc., I made the offer - so long as Dizz is fit enough and sound, D1 can take her and I will be her groom .

D (hubby) wonders as this will be after Dizz and I have been to horsey camp, so by then we should be much better together, etc. - he wonders if I'll be jealous... especially if Friend takes Big Cob...

My response is, yes we should be better and we'll be doing more by then, but D1 is helping a lot with Dizz when I'm at work, so I think she deserves it .

Hopefully we'll have another horse for D1 soon-ish (don't tell D! lol) and then we'll be able to go out and about together - we have no compunctions about competing against each other .

Lol VS - it's going to be the best kept secret ever. D sort of knows that another one will be coming, but he thinks that one will be to bring on and sell on... Never mind, what he doesn't know won't hurt him lol.

Not to change the intention of your post...............but which camp you going to ?. I went last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so I am going to the last one they are holding in August

LH - ta hun . I am actually looking forward to seeing them - D1 will have to go in my colours . I think that, as I was the first bod to gallop the Dizz, to know that feeling and to share it with someone . It will be grand .
