Right then... who was it that posted threads about spring??

Look what you have done... Carol from the beeb has just forecasted more rain and SNOW!!!!!!!!

I am going to blame you for luring winter back on our laps!!!

:D:D:D:D:D

:(:(:(:(:(

I hate to say it but my paddocks could actually do with some rain.....we have also had some turf laid in the garden and a bit of rain will save me having to water it!

Our paddocks are very well draining and have started to look rather 'yellow' so need some warmth and wet stuff to get the grass going - however freezing temps and more snow was not on the request list!

So far two days of fog and today looks to be the thrid!!! Can not ride in fields as they are our hay fields and the one he's in is steep and muddy already :(

Fed up with snow, but it could be worse in someway I'm sure :)

Well mother nature didnt inform my mare, she came into season early yesterday!
I could actually do with some rain to keep our water tower topped up so im not complaining! :D

Ah yes but... to be fair... autumn did start in July, winter came in October so according to my calcumalations, it should be spring/summer now....

no?

Definately couldn't agree more! and i thought it was only me & my OH who said things like calcumalations :) you have just made my day

If it's like this come spring week, I am packing me trunk and saying goodbye to this gloomy circus.

Harrumph.

Still snowing here today.

We did have a bit of a mini melt yesterday and I saw the ground! It was not a pretty sight after months under snow:(

Spring is peeking around the corner here, kind of, ish, temporarily, temps are a degree or two over zero (warm!!:D) but the shovel stays by the door, the plow stays on the quad, and my outdoor clothes are staying right where I can get hold of them for now.

A little bit of greeness poking through :)

Honestly, I was really enjoying having the rugs off and being able to pick and choose which nights they stayed out and which they came in! Now it looks like I'll be a slave to the weather again!

ETA I say "fellytone" :D

I am so depressed now :( I really really thought we'd had the turning point. Our paddocks had all dried up, we've harrowed and rolled them all, and then we get rain.........and lots of it :( Even forecast another inch for tomorrow. And then it's going to go really cold again = no grass growth!!! Argh! I actually thought we'd be on 24/7 turnout in about 10 days time :( Why? I thought the jet stream thingy was in the right place now? :(

Yes me too I thought we'd be in the big fields before Easter but doesn't look like it now :(

P.s. fellytone... I like it! :D
