I lost my beautiful little chap to colic last night and my heart is breaking

I am so so sorry to hear this but take comfort in the fact you were there with him when he needed you the most he is now out of pain and discomfort Colic is such a nasty nasty thing.

RIP Boy

Big hugs to you give yourself plenty of time to grieve this huge loss.
xx

So very sorry to hear of your sad loss. It is such a shock to the system
when that happens out of the blue. xx

Terrible news. So sorry to hear of your sudden and tragic loss last night. So out of the blue, you must be devastated. I cannot imagine. My heart goes out to you. (((hug)))

I'm so so sorry for your loss :( :(

There have been so many colic episodes lately, I can think of at least 10 in the last 4 weeks between people I know.

Big thoughts and vibes to you xx

So sorry to hear this. After 17 years of love and friendship you were there when it really mattered. It must have been so, so hard but you know it will have made things easier for him. Kudos to your vet, too.

So sorry to hear of this it is incomprehensible and then you have to face life without them. This happened to us in July when I lost my horsey soulmate, my baby very suddenly. You were there for him and loved him to the end. Be good to yourself. I cried so much and even had panic attacks about how I would get by without him in my life as he was always there so strong so nobel my boy my joy.

Big hugs sweetie all the best :( (((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))

So sorry to hear this, part of the severity of your feelings of loss is because of the suddenness of it all but at least that means that your boy wasn't in pain for too long. Try to take some comfort from that and the fact that he died at home with you there looking after him to the end.
You vet sounds great.

I am so sorry, I lost my mare to colic earlier this year, I had also had her 17 years. Hang onto all the good memories, it will get easier though know how completely horrendous it is for you right now.

Oh am so sorry that is so sad, am glad you were able to find him and at least the vet gave him something. We lost a much loved pony to colic and it was a true shock. Your vet sounds wonderful. X
