I've only had mine since the weekend and me and Taz love it. I use mine for haylage. Got mine after reading the haynets post on friday. Put me off nets.
If you feed your horse haylage from his Haybar, be aware that if there's any left in the morning it can compact at the bottom and start fermenting all over again. Spoke to the manufacturers and they advise that if your haylage is quite wet, shake the amount you'll be putting in the Haybar out loosely onto the floor and leave it while you muck out. Then put it in the Haybar. They are a marvellous invention and although I bought mine to help Sunny feed in a head-down position (mild COPD) it has saved me untold hours of backache from filling haynets.
Love them, but I can't reach the bottom to get the dregs out!! Was really funny when my friend thought I had fallen in head first, as all she could see was my feet sticking out of the top!!! Lol
