Honey - Weve been through alot! She came to me 1/2 wild unable to pick up her feet, kicking & biting! And now shes my perfect pony

minus the riding part

But it'll come!

Mysti - Complete oposite to Honey. Shes full of beans wont walk anywhere has to prance, add a few bucks n' rears into it!

So why do you love yours?

Charlie - because he's totally stupid, spooky and sharp but I trust him completely.

Millie - because she's just amazing, small but Mighty. Never says no, gives it 110% all the time and LIVES to please. She is one in a million!

Pixie - because she is so young but so trusting,

Darcy - we've gone into the dark and come out the other side

I know every little side to him now and I think he's finally beginning to enjoy his ridden work again

That and he's total lack of brain cell's is always something to laugh at

Hadleigh because we have been through so much together and all of it good. I got him when he was a 3 year old and he will be 31 in January. This week he made me smile when he galloped around the field bucking and squealing.
Whisky because he is a horse with way too much to say for himself. He is awkward, impatient, clumsy but has a heart of gold and is teaching me so much about dressage. In saying that he makes me work hard at it, push button he ain't!!

Banner~ Because we have such a strong bond now and we know eachother inside out. He really looks after me and LOVES his jumping, he will follow me around the field and he's just amazing (imo

)

Lord~ Because even though he is a spooky so and so he is the most affectionate horse I have met and he just loves getting attention, he tries his best when ridden and I'm sure in time he will be a true star SJ.

I bought Vinnie when i was feeling very low, and as far as i'm concerned he has fixed me, he gives me a reason to get up in the mornings, to go to work and to not give up when i am feeling like absolute sh1t because he needs me, but i need him so much more.
I cannot say how much Vinnie means to me its more than words can say.
He is so cute, funny and adorable he always puts a smile on my face he is like sunshine on a rainy day...
smile.gif

Bodey- because no matter we do together he always give it 110%! We have a real bond and I believe trust in each other.

Badger the Fjord- because he is just so dam cute, and loves cuddles and attention. But mainly because he gives my Mum so much joy.

Minnie because she has helped me through the worst possible time in my life of loosing Merlin, she has the cute factor and always happy even when she's stuck in her box and I love her to death!!!

Wouldnt be without her now either

River - there aren't words enough to say why I love him so, even though he's gone. But mainly because he was my pony through and through - he was cheeky, naughty, stubborn but with a gentleness that comforted the most nervous of people around horses and always knew when enough was enough and looked after me...

Luca - because he is big beautiful and a bit daft and teaching me more every single day - including to be kind to him he has big (little) hoof prints to fill and he needs to be loved in his own right - oh and because when there is something exciting to do you must accompany it with flatluance! its hilarious!!!

xx

Because he tries so hard with everything you ask of him and is always so pleased to see me. He's guaranteed to cheer me up even after the worst of days. And because he's turning out to be a million times more than I could ever have wished for.
laugh.gif

Joe- because he is a fighter and at 17 he still doesn't think he is old (very hard life/ a yrs lameness walking on 3 legs and still came through
grin.gif
)

Jazz- because she has the sweetest nature and always challenging me and she has been a very steep learning curve but i have enjoyed it
grin.gif

Because although he can be a grumpy b*gger I know he trusts me 100% and is always begrudgingly happy to see me with his silly little horse neigh and head tossing. He is so giving when we are riding and is the bravest, most honest horse you could wish for.

When I nearly lost him with peritonitis last year he laid in his stable with his head in my lap and I knew we were meant to be together...he's my star.

I love Orkan after my 6 weeks of ownership as he is such a character, picking up my car keys and waving them about
grin.gif

He just has something special about him and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy
smile.gif

Oh I am sappy!

Be - she may be broken, but she makes me laugh and smile countless times every day. Her love for life and positivity is contagious, and despite everything we've been though, I still love her to pieces and always will
smile.gif

Star - She may be a grumpy old baggage at times,
blush.gif
but she still makes me laugh with it,
grin.gif
Especially when ten seconds later she changes her mind and wants to be affectionate. After nearly 13 years of loyally taking care of me and my mother, (and visa versa
tongue.gif
) she is the most reliable and trustworthy friend I have ever known
smile.gif

Hari- I love her so so much. Have been in horses since i was 12 got my first pony(rip sonny) he died and i had a rest from horses for over 6 years. Have been back in horses a year and a half and 5 horses later i have managed to find the right one cant explain how much i love her we have clicked just like that and i know her ins and outs and only had her for 5 months. And she isn't no typical chestnut mare.
grin.gif

Pea- Hes taught me so much and how 2 read a horse. As hes a stroppy git but When i broke my femur from a nasty fall I never once was worried about sitting on him and every step we made was such an achievement. When I couldnt walk he'd stand tied up and and i'd sit on a chair next to him for hours. He made my recover so much quicker as I had a reason to get well. He is such a playful horse which after a bad day makes me smile.

Red- she is perfect, ridden she take so much care of her rider and tries her hardest to please. Her saggy bottom lip which hangs all the time.

... he's the sweetest natured horse in the world, an absolute dream to handle on the groud; but when you ride him he's a real little firecracker and keeps you right on your toes! He's taught me confidence, patience and trust (...and stickability ...), and is generally just adorable
grin.gif

Atum my 17hh TB is a real gentleman and very safe, can be spooky when ridden but doesnt try and run off, which is a godsend to my last TB who was a complete nightmare to lead and ride.

As for the shetties you just cant help but love them even with their little quirks. Very cuddley too.

George - because I waited and dreamed for 30 yrs of having my own horse and when I got one I struck lucky and got one in a million. So kind, trusting, patient and just a little bit cheeky!

because he's a fantastic character-if a little naughty! he's very fizzy and sharp but i feel 100% safe on him, he has taught me so much with regards to showjumping, and we have plenty of badtimes when i feel like im hitting my head against a brickwall, but it makes the good times sooo rewarding! he's taught me how to ride a difficult horse and i love him so much!!

Because he's grumpy, moody, evil, nasty, miserable and generally disgusting, but he is my best friend and he takes care of me. I couldn't ask for a better horse.
