First a bit of advice. It doesn't matter how much you dislike the first horse you bought from a dealer never ever ever swap it in a carpark for another horse.
Dolly is completley crippled, she has spavins in both hocks and on 2 bute a day is still lame on a circle. I haven't ridden her in well over a month. She would never have passed a vetting, if I had had her vetted but I just wanted desperatly to get rid of the other horse so badly I just grabbed any other option. Which yes I know wasn't the right thing to do.
The dealer told me to ride her on bute until that didn't work anymore, but it has never worked and I didn't feel right doing it anyway.
I can't claim on insurance as it was a pre exsisting condition to when I bougth her 2 months ago, but I didn't get her vetted so its my own fault.
Just very upset that I have been ripped off so badly, lost all my money and can't afford to buy a new horse. The Dealer was recommended to me as being very straight and honest by several people, as if.
Also feel sorry for poor Dolly, she is the most lovely mare, we really got on well and now she is lame. I am going to try to sell her as a broodmare as she has jumped and won some very good classes and has £2,500 BSJA, but if that doesn't work I'll get her PTS.
