She is doing really well thanks

She was a bit stressed yesterday morning - it is very noisy where I live

, lots of barking dogs, screaming kids, radios on in the garden etc so she tended to rush out and bark every time she heard another dog barking. By the afternoon she had settled down to sleep on the sofa

I have left her for a couple of hours last night, and this morning when I went riding, and she hasnt touched a thing and she was really good overnight too

Ah she looks chilled. I was wondering when you were going to post. Welcome home Islay

ETA: Is that the best sunbathing spot in the garden then? They both picked it!

LOL - that spot was just next to my chair, so they were both trying to get there

I had forgotten how when you get a new dog you have to also make sure you give the existing dog just as much fuss etc - they were both being really spoiled yesterday

Prose, she is meant to be black - but she does have a reddish tinge to her coat I have noticed, which my last black greyhound didn't have - so would this make her seal in colour? I haven't heard that terminology before but what you describe is how she appears to me

As far as Boston Terriers go, yes. Stella appears black, but goes a completely different colour in direct sunlight...

Geek that I am, I found this on greyhound colours. Seems that regular greyhounds are just referred to as black, but the seal colouring is mentioned as far as Italian greyhounds go.
