She was so cross with me because I wouldn't let her go
She spent the entire time swishing her tail at me when she tried trotting off (one attempt at halt to canter too) but felt sound if a little heavy in the hand but she has been on box rest all week
I had a short trot in the school to see how she felt, and I have to say it felt strange being back on her and I have only not ridden her for a week... But I was just so pleased she felt sound.
Then, I rode her back up to the yard, over the hard core area and then up the concrete path. There were a few people in the haylage shed so I asked them to watch me trot her (still on board) and she was sound on the hard surface
But, because I gave her head to her and stayed out of the saddle so I could monitor it being on board, she decided to set off in canter when I sat down to ask for walk
