I Rode To My Prom!!! (Lots of Pics!)

I had my year 11 prom last night. My friend and I wanted to stand out, so we both decided to ride. Don't bother complaining about the lack of hats please. I understood the risks. He was incredably well behaved, loved the attention and will be appearing in the local newspapers next week!

Thank you, my mum boxed them home. We didn't ride all the way there, as it would have taken hours! We boxed to a field nearby and rode up the road! Cheating really!

Ah i see! what a fab idea! 10 points for imagination. Even if i could turn back time it would of been dangerous for me to do it anyway as the mariot (where mine was) is right next to a main road and a retail centre, cant imagine my neddy being chuffed about that. You look very nice as well as the ponio

im not being awkward but as a mum - werent you a bit worried about riding with no hat????? again - i am a novice so may be totally wrong -but isn it illegal to ride on public roads without one?????
Im really not beign awkward - i really would love my daughter to do this too - she could ride him there and me take him home, but i just worry our insurance may be invalid, the police may get involved if shes not wearing a hat????
I hope not because like you must do obviously - i totally trust our horse - im just confused re the legalities of riding on the public highway without a hat????
