From a fellow appy owner, I am so sorry to hear this. I had to let my oldy go a few weeks ago and it is so hard, even when you know it is the right decision. I hope you have many happy years with Harley. Hugs.

Thank you everyone for your kind works, its very strange going to the field and shes not there, the other 3 horses seem quite settled without her, but I think it does help allowing them to say goodbye. Least I have lots of happy memories of her, and Im glad I let her go while she was quite well in herself, rather than the middle of winter if she had struggled more ( she could not see the electric fencing at all when it snowed) and I dreaded finding her caught up in it.
