So sorry and thank goodness you were there and got plenty of sedatives painkillers etc in to help ease. We lost a horse to colic and that horse got to horsepital, it happened very fast too and unexpectedly. Glad you got it sorted urgently. Your vet and farrier sound wonderful too. RIP and am very sorry for your lossx.

so, so sorry. I know that no words from strangers, over the internet, will replace him.... but, you should be proud of yourself for taking that final, brave, decision on his behalf, and to know that you didn't allow him to suffer.
