I went on a hack today...

Well we screamed but nothing happened it was rather dissapointing and we did leave little D behind if that counts?

I'm supprised the photos of me looking like a true professional havnt been put up yet :p I was following every rule there is :D

Yes we left my little baby boy - not even two! - in a field all by himself without supervision for hours! (checks that box)

Do you mean these?

not looking where she's going, legs in entirely the wrong place, one handed washing line reins and all that :p

you mean you didn't you scream at something at the hedge, get bolted with, fall off get run over and then abandon the most vulnerable member of your group?

UNBELIEVABLE!! :mad::mad:

;):rolleyes::D

we screamed at many things - in hedges, bushes, our imaginations... bolting? well we had no control over the ponies (I couldn't get mine to canter and never had more than a half-arsed contact cos I was filming :p), abandoned Darach at the yard, tried to incapacitate JT's bionic knee on a tree and almost died of unfitness... But alas we failed to fall off and get run over. Must try harder next time!

Im surprised that you all havent been told yet, that ponies mustnt under any circumstances carry more then 6 stone!!! Shame on you!!! :D

And as for your heights... well.

think you'll find I pointed out that my cob (the biggest of them all today) shouldn't carry more than 5 stone pages ago, actually :D The ponies should just be field ornaments really - not fit to carry anything :eek:

Oh, you have my sincerest apologies!! did the 5 stone rule come in with the new pc handbook?!

Seems like i must have mistreated my old coblet for over 20 years then, cos i certainly dont weigh 5 st.... whoops! :eek:

And thats why fergs wouldnt stay in canter because he couldnt carry you :cool: as I said earlier we all need 17hh beasts and even then we shouldnt go out of walk because we are to heavy for them.

Sounds fun :). I was thinking about THAT thread today too - while escorting two children (not mine) out hacking on my slightly nutty youngster. We did main roads and stuff, and one of them was riding a 5yo - but the children were well looked after by their bombproof ponies, and their riding skills were up to scratch, so we had a fun, uneventful hack!

I don't know hhoers meeting up and playing ponies, whatever next :eek: I have def never done that. Though this does always seem to result in regression to childhood when possible ;) :D

can you do who can jump the widest instead? I always love those vids on youtube ;) :D

ps I am so adult I am attempting to upload the vid of my 'shrek' pairs dressage test!
