Iams help please

got offered a bag of iams(sp) to try following on from a previous post about dogs weight im following the guidelines and introducing it in to her current feed

question is she is drinking allot more than normal is this the iams? or a reaction?

Iams is a pretty nasty food and contains a lot of salt and corn and not much meat. So that's probably why yours are drinking more.

Salt content would have been my first thought too.

Its a totally rubbish food, my wee staffie eats anything and we got given a big bag of Iams and Ive never seen her looking so bad and unhealthy and her coat is minging. Now Ive previously had her on a £9 15kg bag of Dr Johns and she looked amazing in great nick and lovely shiny coat. Will definitely NOT be going near Iams again - even if it is free!
