Just wanted to post to say how impressed I am with them!

I've had them for over a year (the extra full ones) and usually use them after cross country. On sunday night billy somehow managed to get cast (we think, going by the markings on the wall) and had a hugely swollen hind legon Monday morning. With no cuts etc. the only thing that we could come up with was that he twisted/sprained his fetlock while stuck. Very weirdly he was sound, was happy to put full weight on it and no heat in his leg!! But the leg itself was very swollen so i kept him in his yard and hosed his leg three times on monday for 20mins each. On tuesday leg was the same size, hosed it in morning, lunch and then put the ice vibe boot on in the evening with the cool pack.

This morning his leg is almost back to normal, ice cold and just some lingering swelling around the top of his fetlock. Bill is back to his normal self and is demanding to be let out again into his field!

I'm very impressed at the results the boots have gotten, if i had just hosed the leg I would say that it would take another 2-3 days to be what it was like today! Of course I can only specualte but the swelling really was enormous and to have such a drastic change overnight is very impressive imo :)

Has anyone else had good results with the ice vibe boots? :)

I only have questions as I was looking to buy these; for cooling kegs down after fast work more than anything else. Did you use the vibration on the swelling as well?

I was going to order 2 sets so they can be used on all 4 legs at the same time. Is this what you do?

They are great for swellings, i put them on my lad without the ice packs just on the virbration when he was stuck on box rest for 6 months worked wanders :) just dont use the 3rd vibration setting unless you have the ice packs on aswell as the setting is too high without the ice packs!

I did, i used the second setting with the cold packs from the freezer. I only have the extra full ones as thought I could then use them front and back but have been considering getting the normal ones as well to use on the front, so 4 can go at once.
At the moment i just do front then back. However he dosen't mind them on the front but is definitely not keen on them behind; he tries to shake them off. He does tolerate them behind but just about!

Ah I see. I was thinking about getting the hock boots as well as I have one with OA in the upper hock. However judging by how mental he went when I tried magnetic hock boots on him (he literally tried to kill me them started gnawing them off) I was hesitant to try these on his hocks.

Off to order a set of the leg ones to see how they go. Thanks for the info.
