Just wanted to post to say how impressed I am with them!
I've had them for over a year (the extra full ones) and usually use them after cross country. On sunday night billy somehow managed to get cast (we think, going by the markings on the wall) and had a hugely swollen hind legon Monday morning. With no cuts etc. the only thing that we could come up with was that he twisted/sprained his fetlock while stuck. Very weirdly he was sound, was happy to put full weight on it and no heat in his leg!! But the leg itself was very swollen so i kept him in his yard and hosed his leg three times on monday for 20mins each. On tuesday leg was the same size, hosed it in morning, lunch and then put the ice vibe boot on in the evening with the cool pack.
This morning his leg is almost back to normal, ice cold and just some lingering swelling around the top of his fetlock. Bill is back to his normal self and is demanding to be let out again into his field!
I'm very impressed at the results the boots have gotten, if i had just hosed the leg I would say that it would take another 2-3 days to be what it was like today! Of course I can only specualte but the swelling really was enormous and to have such a drastic change overnight is very impressive imo
Has anyone else had good results with the ice vibe boots?
