Ideas for a present for the yard?

Days out / rides / BBQs might be hard to get everyone together at same time, but I don't know what the folk on your yard are like. I think individual pressies is the way forward.

So glad you are feeling back to yourself. Bless ya!

My yard love the boat trip on the thames, coach ride down to the leaving point free food on board etc.

Also the meal at chinese, My yard would have been lost without them, also stepping in when my parents RTA last Nov before my accident, and had to be cut out of their vehicle with broken back and sternum. My liveries (well the ones who covered) are amazing, so I REALLY REALLY wanted to do something extra special.

For me I wanted to do something with "WOW" factor when they got the invites which I used this with my dates and events and picture http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-Person...p_Cosmetics_Foundation_PP&hash=item2a40f31bd3.

My main issue with getting individual presents is the different levels of help given, and the fact that we have a couple of new liveries so might be a bit awkward handing out presents to everyone but them! the above and beyond helper I was thinking of getting her some dressage gear (fancy saddle pad etc)

Watch the daily runnings of the yard and see what people struggle with. Flat wheels on wheelbarrows maybe etc?
I agree, I don't think individual presents would work. If I was a livery at your yard and I hadn't done a lot to help, yet still got a present, I'd actually feel a little awkward.
When I was younger and at a yard with my pony, our yard would all truck off (convoy style!) for a day at a hired X-C course. People who wanted to jump could and those that didn't used it to school on grass for a change, or just enjoy a day riding in the countryside.
We'd then all have lunch back at the lorries, a picnic if you like... Or in this case, a BBQ at the yard would be nice.

Its a very nice thing you're doing, they sound like great people to have around. I'm sure they will appreciate anything you do to thank them. They did it just to help you after all. Don't put too much pressure on yourself for the 'thanks' to be perfect!

As an individual gift what about giving them free livery for a week or two? I'm sure everyone would appreciate that.

A yard trip to somewhere like HOYS would be quite fun too!

Nice ideas with the jumps and letters and the individual gift for your above and beyond helper.

I think it would also be nice to do something social, that allows you to say thank you, but also gives everyone a chance to have a catch up, a good natter and to switch off. It also can be a mini celebration that you are back on your feet! How about a yard bbq/picnic, or taking your helpers out for a nice lunch/dinner?

Lovely thing for you to do and glad you are ok! :)

The livery thing is a good idea but would have to be careful against seeming biased against new liveries! I am sure that any horsey owner would appreciate a weeks break in financing their beasties though! :D
