Hi all:-),
I don't post in here much but I was just woundering if any of you had any idesa about the sorts of 'fun' things I can do with my colt.. ATM he walks about half a mile 2days a week and has a trot around the park at the weekend; He really enjoys his walks, but I can't help thinking it's getting very boring for the little guy! Any ideas of anything we can try will be greatly appreciated!:-)

I assume because your calling him a colt - he is a yearling??

Is he boisterous? good with vet and farrier?

If he is a nice well behaved chap = My advice would be to leave him alone to grow up! :) In the nicest way - he has 25yrs plus of people playing with him - let him play with his mates for a little bit more.

Sounds like twice a week he is getting some great education! Keep it up, and he will be a sweety to work with later, but please dont think of working him too much - he has so much growing to do!

Edited to say - Loose schooling would be fun - try Spook profing him with a Tarpaulin or Fillers??

Thanks for the replys:-), iv never thought of free schooling or spook proofing thanks! Also HH yes he is a yearling and his manners are improving lol.. He's good for the vet and farrier :-). I was trying to think of other things to alternate with his walks, I wouldn't up his workload at all.
