if money were no object what horse would you buy?

I didn't know this was a Cavalier trait but yes we are patient and just hope that it will pay off, he is super one day and a total stress ball the next but funny at the show we did he was a different horse and he took charge as thought he was saying I know my job let me get on with it. The problem then was if another horse hit a pole in the warm up he freaked and shot off and when he touched one in the arena he almost died and it took 3 jumps to get him back but he still didn't touch any more. Am looking forward to getting him out again, he also had a very sore back from badly fitting tack and that took 2 months to sort out with no riding just lungeing

used to jump alot at laurel view, glen knipe bought my last mare i had ...miss her

... hopefully with up and coming youngster will get back into it again . all these "NORN IRON" HHO users we could organise a meet :P lol

Good luck for the 4th

Does Glen still have her? What are you bringing on now? Yes there are quite a few of us on here now so a meet could be on the cards one of these days. Thanks we will need it as taking 3 down there foir their first outing on grass could be fun!! I dont think.

Yes, most Cavaliers are renowned for their traits, real professional horses i guess, unless you are patient/sympathetic. Most seem to get to the top of their respective discipline tho!

Unfortunately not, sold her to a judith robinson ?? .... she lives somewhere along the ballymena line , she orginally came from lisburn god cant remember the girls name now .... Shes an 11 mth old ISH by rachelle comet (tb) . I own half and ACmissy owns the other, ( i get heads ) she gets tails ) that way I dont get the shít lol :P

Good luck with the grass lol

Well I would definetely say you got the better end from that point of view of course AC Missy could say that you got the expensive feeding end and she has the good power end for jumping lol! I have heard of Judith Robinson

Well I already have my boy and whilst he is fit and well and going strong he will be the only horse I ride and dedicate my time to. But if for some horrible reason I did not have him and had all the money in the world and not so commited work wise (dream, dream, dream)...I would like a Welsh D foal of good bloodlines (like my boy) to raise and bring on and I would like a Welsh x Arab so that I could have a bash at some real long distance endurance rides...as my Welshie boy has too much muscle bulk for it and suffers in the heat.

Oooh this please!!

If money were no object I would buy my old welsh D back, and a new 16hh welsh d stalion and of course a 17hh Clydsdale or shire.. And maybe a sport horse or two to compete on.... Hmm but I rekon having money ruins you... you take everything for granted and having more done for you, you learn less. Quite happy with my current horses ^.^

i took ym boy to tyrella on sat to jump too- he was snorting at the grass and doing fantastic extended trot! he calmed down tho- it was great to be outdoors again. Hate jumping inside!

I know what you mean...
I'd like to pamper all the brick kiln donkeys
