I'm so used to seeing big muscley eventers I'm not sure what I want her to look like!!
I think I agree with you. Length off the mane, length off the tail and a good shampoo, and then I'll use the trimmers to take all the fluff off her 'ankles' and her beard! I'm not sure how much to take off her mane...I'm worried about making her neck look really thick! I suppose that I can take off a little bit at the time...I don't know how to pull her though, I always cut it with scissors (ducks for cover!!!!!).
Goodness only knows what she's made up of - mum was a TB, dad must have been an extremely hairy elephant!!!! She is unbelievably hairy in the winter, but in the summer she's a much lighter colour with a beautiful coat - in the winter, her feathers are ok but in the summer she looks daft!

And of course, I shall post a photoshoot on the weekend when I've done her
