If you could have one Badminton horse, who would it be?

Only because I know the horse and I know he is incredibly straight forward that an amateur as bad as me could actually ride him - Faere Vision.

As an owner then it would have to be Happy Times - what a result winning 3* last year and then doing so well at his first 4*. A bit more work on the dressage and he will be up there. The improvement in his Sjing is all credit to his rider as he was shocking at Saumur.

As an owner I would steal WFP's entire yard!!!!

He is a lovely horse - it was a shame to have been so let down by his rider.

I love Comanche, if he was 10 years younger - I'd take him home to waste him doing Riding club & a bit of showing...

I'd love to know how Idalgo is bred, such a stunning horse, also really rated Armada, thought he made the XC look like a local Hunter Trial.

There is a lot of horrible stuff going on in the background for the rider so her heart just was not in it.

Lenamore, Macchiato or Little Tiger

That is so sad as if she knew she wouldn't be able to have given it 100%, surely it would have been fairer to give someone on the waiting list their chance? At that level there should be no excuses, surely.

I'm not sure i can pick just one - there were a few who really stood out to me this year.

Macchiato
Little Tiger
Drivetime
Society Spice
Gazelle yadda yadda face
and of course Flint Curtis who made it all look so easy yesterday!

It's really exciting watching this next lot of 4* horses coming up.

I think there is a big difference between being half hearted and not having your heart in it. She had the good sense to pull up at the first sign of trouble, so lets not second guess in this case.

Lenamore because he always looks a fabulous ride (but Caroline rides him so nicely)
Flint Curtis because he always looks so safe and bold
Society Spice because Emily L looked to have a lovely ride on her

I love Idalgo and society spice. Wouldnt have a hope of knowing how to ride idalgo ever he is just so classy!

Rock Model...although he had to withdraw before it started due to a sore foot!! Off to groom for him at Chatsworth next weekend now instead! - not quite the same as Badminton!

I helped to break him as a 3 year old, hes fab

(he's in one of my paintings below)

Lenamore, little German Mare, Tony Warr's & Comanche as he reminds me of DA.

I'll happily take any of them if they are going spare!

Della M. Irham De Vaiges - made it look fun, gutted about the sjing.
Regulus - just love a big bright bay

Ilot Du Grand Val - very smart
and If You Want 2 - just a shame at the corner

Always like Idalgo, very classy.
