I require a new saddle for my Welsh D and I've just bought a youngster who needs kitting out so it wouldn't really go that far... I also would like a trailer, new tow vehicle, new roof on the house (the leaks are annoying!). But I would also like some reserves.
It would get spent and probably not on what I first thought however it would be on something needed rather than flitted away.
I'd sort out the pony field, fencing, grass mats etc. Get Dan a super comfy bridle. Buy some poles etc for the field (for schooling the pons) possibly. Presuming that I had some left over it would probably go in the bank - for a short while
Replace Warrior's saddle with something that's comfy for me as well as him (would be second hand). Upgrade trailer floor, tyres and get it serviced fully.
Can think of loads of things that aren't horse related as well...
If I had to spend it I'd get the saddler to go as far as he could to getting a nice dressage and functional jump saddle for C. If not I'd just save it for when I run out of money at some point
Another one for a saddle. Pip is still managing in an old GP for everything and if we are going to intermediate next year then maybe ought to upgrade. However the person that said top of the range I see the Butet's for example are now nearly 3.5K
