my dogs are really odd!
I have been showing with Flora today and I forgot to book anyone to come walk them at lunch time (cos my head seems permanently up my own bottom of late! :rolleyes:) So the poor wee mites have done 7 hours home alone today. Was expecting to pay royally for this indiginity...something trashed...perhaps a wee on the kitchen floor...generally returning to a bit of a bomb site!
BUT oh no not my dogs...house on first inspection seemed totally utterly unscathed. The only thing that I have just this minute discovered is.......someone stole an apple from the fruit bowl and stuck it behind a sofa cushion! :rolleyes: :confused: :D

Maybe someone was going to have it for lunch and then didn't bother!
If mine are left, even if only for a short while, one or the other brings one slipper or shoe into the living room. Never both, just one. They don't damage it, I just find it sitting there....so yours aren't the only strange 'uns. :confused:
 
Abe lines things up!

We have 6 pairs of slippers by the front door for guests and we regularly come home to them in a neat little line down the middle of the room,
 
well tilly breaks the longdog rule then...cos guaranteed it was her that stole said apple...and I know its her that opens all the kitchen cupboards and the oven when I go up the yard in the afternoon! She just sleeps when I'm here and gives an air of blissful innocence!
 
I can go out for 4-5 hours (once a fortnight at most) and leave my two (including 5 month lab) - no trouble. On the other hand, I can go out for an hour and then have to clean up after an accident. Logic?? None as far as I can work out! They are always let out to do their stuff before I leave the house so not sure why it happens sometimes and not others.

Susie just sleeps and Oscar is now reformed but used to shred anything within reach
